N/A: *This was not my spell originally but I was inspired by it. I'm sharing this spell for those who would like to add fairy dust to their works. Maybe to attract the Fae or a fairy in general(ONLY IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING-when it comes to the Fae. Be careful!)**

I will show you the original spell apart from my own. I wasn't just only inspired by the spell itself- but by other sources to enhance it. You will see why.

Fairy Dust

"This is helpful for showing you how to make fairy dust to add to your potions."

You will need the following items for this spell:

-Glitter or sparkles

-A bowl of water

-Dead flower petals

"Let the petals soak in the water for 1-3 hours (or add the glitter/sparkles with the petals and let the water evaporate and done!). Then, pour a lot of the water out and pour in glitter/sparkles. Let the water evaporate."

Credits go to the person who made this official spell!

Here goes my version of a fairy dust spell...I will explain as I go.

What you will need: A bowl, water, petals(of any kind..),  and saffron/turmeric(as a spice). It's optional to add glitter/sparkles*** to the spell for the effect of what we see (to enhance) as fairy dust. You don't need alotttt of glitter or sparkles added. Just a little bit.

You can place (half of) the water in the bowl charged or not; it doesn't matter as long as its purified. You can do it outside since it's a fairy dust spell. Fairies are known to be out in nature(not in the visible eye but still 🤷‍♀️). Add flower petals and if your bowl is bigger for a simple cup measurement, place just half a cup of saffron/turmeric. It doesn't really matter how much but at least much more than the glitter if you would like to add it in the spell. After you have done that, you can stir it and leave it out with a lid/aluminum/plastic wrap on top to seal it shut. You can let the petals soak on its own alone THEN place the spices together in the water sealed up for one day in a safe place. After that, you're done!

Added steps to this...

What you will need: another bowl, drain filter, jar/bottle, and intent!

After its been cooped up in a safe place from one day in hiding, you can set a bowl underneath a drain filter as you pour the water filled of spices and petals from the bowl- slowly. It should drain the water out and leave you with the spice, petals, and/or glitter. Let it dry out somewhere safe for a bit. Then when you know its dry, you can place it all in a container(jar/bottle/etc) for uses of your works later. Congrats. You officially made fairy dust.

*Some people, including me, likes Spells of Magic site. And any spells I place on here publicly, like the site itself, I give credit to the original makers of their spells. They are not mine which I will forever repeat that statement in this book. I will cite the source.

**Be careful when it comes to the Fae. If you are a beginner at this or anything about the Fae, do your research. Unless there's a calling or you had some reincarnation done with such knowledge or they came forth to your life repeatedly, do NOT do any attempts towards the Fae if you do NOT know what you are doing. They are stronger than you know. Not every Fae are sunshine and rainbows. I am not trying to scare those who aren't knowledgeable about fairies in general. In our world we might associate some as 'good or bad'. But, in their world, it's much more complicated AND simple to not just stick with the boxes: good and bad. I might talk more about fairies and the Fae all together later. Anyways, use the dust for any work. Just be careful if you are going to associate this with the Fae or fairies in general.

***The reason glitters/sparkles is an option and not required like the other spell is because, most commonly, glitter are from plastic. Some glitter are from glass and other materials. Most are known as fake and irritating to clean up after- sooooo just use only a lil dab of glitter. The use of sparkles represents our childhood of what we depict what fairy dust looks like. Shiny and glittery. And popularized thanks to Tinkerbell films with or without Peter Pan and the Lost Boys
