Chapter 3: Coincidence?

I opened my eyes and reach for my alarm clock to turn it off. Warm yellow rays wafting through my window dust modes floating, suspended, in the air. Too bright to look at, yet too bright to look away. A relaxing sensation of peace as i sit up and thinking how i'll start my first day in agency. But few seconds past the sensation of peace starts to fade and replaced by overthinking just like last night. What if the ability users and the rest at the ADA won't like me. I shook my head to avoid adding negative thoughts in my mind i take a deep breath before standing up to start my day.

I stepped into shower, toes flinching as they touched the chilled ceramic floor. I turn the tap on water starts pouring down like a waterfall from the shower head before anything i dip my toe to check the temperature. The warm water pours down , it drips by my side darkening my hair and trickled down my back. The sensation of steamy water calms me and helping my mind how to put things together. Ideas starts to come up how should i start my first day at agency. First i must show them a friendly first impression to them, Second i should make friends and get along with them after few days and last i must gain their trust to me proving them they won't regret for hiring me!" i said in my mind and smiled positively.

After i bathe and choose what to wear, i positioned myself in front of the bureau mirror i licked my bottom lips giving it a wet shine before applying a lipstick. Checking my bag if everything i need is already inside before i go then grabbed my trench coat before i locked my unit.

The smell of warm coffee and how i first tasted it never changed. Since i had nothing to eat for breakfast at home i decided to stop here where i met Dazai before going to agency. I wonder where is he now, i hope he's doing fine and we'll see each other again.

I looked at my wrist watch to see it's 8:50 am, since 9am i should be at the agency after all this coffee shop is located at the first floor of the building where the Armed Detective Agency Office is.

As i expected Kunikida is waiting for me at outside of the agency " y/n I'm glad you're on time, are you ready to start your first day" I smiled to him "h-hai! but I'm just nervous" He tapped my shoulder "Don't worry I'm sure they will like you as new part of the team" then he fixed his eyeglasses before turning the doorknob.

After Kunikida introduced you to them, now its their turn to one by one introduced themselves to you. The short hair girl wearing butterfly clip first introduce herself " Yosano Akiko, I'm the doctor here" next a boy with a blonde hair there's a straw hat hanging from his back, just from looking at him you can tell that he is a nice person " Konichiwaa~ I'm Miyazawa Kenji nice to meet you" he said and waved his hand. Then there's a guy who's sitting on swichel chair near at the window" Edogawa Ranpo" while starring the marble he's holding not giving any single glance to you.

The boy with silver side fringe hair and his vibrant violet eye mixes with yellow smiled to you sweetly "Nakajima Atsushi!" and lower his head. "Aaaaa! I'm so happy the new part of Armed Detective Agency is female. Konichiwa! I'm Tanizaki Naomi hoping to get along with you sooon!~" the girl with long black hair and wearing a seifuku said to you "Anddd this is my Nii-Saaan~" while hugging tightly the tall redhead guy beside her " h-hai Tanizaki Junichiro ahe~" he said while blushing from Naomi's doing to him.

"I'm glad you're already here, Fukuzuwa Yukichi" a serious man showed up from another room with calm expression. Everyone bow their heads when you realize they're giving respect you immediately bow your head too. "Y/n Fukuzuwa is the president of ADA" after Kunikida's words sink to you, you lower your head again to apologize for not giving respect "I-im sorry for not giving respect to you Mr.President i promise it wont happen again" as Fukuzuwa is now standing in front of you" Raise your head Y/n there's nothing to be apologize" after you raise your head you can't believe your standing in front of Armed Detective Agency President. Being intimated to his prescence your anxious starts to grow but you take a deep breath and repeat the words in your head " i must gain their trust to me proving them they won't regret for hiring me!
