Chapter 6: Jealousy

"Dazai you don't need to walk me home today. Atsushi will sleep at my place tonight were having a slumber party okay!" You said in a cheerful voice before giving him a peck kiss on the cheek and gather your things

"Just the two of you?" You look back to him and sighs "yes we've been planning this for a long time i already told you about this but you know the agency is kinda busy during that time and now that it's been peaceful here and not hectic schedule" you reached for his hands and look at him hoping he won't be mad "Sorry i forgot to tell you" you said while looking at him straight in the eyes and pouting

Ever since Dazai slept at your place,  You trusted him more and little by little you're being more comfortable to him by showing your affection for him and your soft side

"Okay" Dazai answered in calm tone after that he pinched your cheeks. A sigh of relief came from you thankful that Dazai would not be mad or sad for not updating him.

" I have to go now Atsushi is waiting me at the supermarket, were planning to have hotpot tonight and watch some movies so we need to do some grocery" you fetch all your things and grab your bag before putting your coat. Dazai is still at his table sitting on it watching you to get ready for leaving

You give his right cheek a peck kiss before going "text me when you got home okay?!" You walk out to the office but before completely leaving. You looked back to him for one last time and waved a goodbye with a bright smile. In response Dazai smiled and nod, you saw his mouth moves saying "go" and starts walking again off to where meeting Atsushi.

"looks like i need to move fast than i thought it was gonna be huh?" he whispers still not moving from his position his fist changed into clenched. He may look calm outside but his boiling from jealously and overthinking things. Dazai can't show this side of him to anyone only to you. After few minutes of still not moving Dazai decided to stands up his brown orbs glow showing a hidden victory on it. He smirks and put his hands inside his pockets "Sure y/n have fun~"

Waving your hands while calling Atsushi his face turned to you immediately after hearing your voice. His face  changed into cheerful " i was planning to come back at the agency to look for you it made me worried that your taking a while i thought something happened to you" he said in a sincere tone " i know im sorry im few minutes late. It's just Dazai i forgot to tell him again about this since he always walk me home but don't worry we've already settled it and it's fine to him since you're not other to be jealous" you said in unbothered tone

"Im glad Dazai-san didn't get mad because we can cancel it and move to another date" Atsushi sighs and scratches his head. " Nope Dazai is fine he's not that type of person, well sometimes he's possessive but don't worry about it. Now let's go! Buying what we need for tonight!" You said in excited tone to cheer Atsushi's vibe. You placed your hands to Atsushi arms and dragged him excitedly inside "Let's go!"

Not from afar eyes that contains jealousy and anger from it watches you.  Dazai is hiding from post, how you how to interact with Atsushi is making him more desirous. As the two of you entered the grocery story he came out of his hiding place " you've never been like that to me y/n" his serious tone is mixed with envious feeling towards to Atsushi. After saying that to himself he starts walking off

You walk the hallway of the grocery while Atsushi is pushing the cart following you. As you wander through the section of meat choosing the perfect meat for your hotpot tonight. Atsushi suddenly asks a question that really made your head turn to him

"So y/n how's Dazai-san i mean how is he treating you ?" Atsushi asked in a clear tone while looking down at the cart not making an eye contact to you. "Why did you ask?" You let out a chuckle before continuing to speak "you know... i never felt safe to someone other than being with him, Dazai is suicidal im aware to that but it doesn't mean he's hard to love to be honest it made me want to love him more" Atsushi eyes widen from what he heard. He let out a sigh and looked at you " i guess Dazai-san really makes you happy huh?" He chuckled and shake his head " As long as you're happy im fine with it Onee-san i- i mean y/n"

The tables now turned your the one whos eyes are widen because of you heard. Did Atsushi just called me Onee-san?  You speak to yourself while your heart skips and feeling warm at the same time. Tears started to come out from your eyes because of happiness. You run to Atsushi and hug him you heard him  gasp because of what you did.

"AAAA ATSUSHI WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE LIKE THAT!" You teared up because of joy and hugged him more tightly. Another person is link to you, ADA is definitely your new home with new friends you made that you didn't  know will bring huge change to your life.

The smell of hotpot is lingering to your apartment. While slicing the rest of the vegetables Atsushi eyes is sparkling while starring the hot pot at perfect boiling point. "Ah y/n where i can place the book i bought for you?" On your way home, you guys stopped to bookstore since there this new book your waiting for just came out and Atsushu just found out you love books so as return in favor for welcoming him to your home. He bought it for you.

"Uhh my bookshelves is in my bedroom you can place it there" you said while cutting the vegetables. Atsushi stands up and pick the paper bag and entered your room

"What is Atsushi doing in her room?" Dazai's voice is dry. Atsushi is now currently at the front of your bookshelves he can't decide where to put your new book.

The night dazai entered your room he installed a mini camera to your bookshelves to spy on you more.

The two men is like in starring contest but only Atsushi is not aware that there is a person staring him.

You noticed Atsushi is taking long, " hey what are you taking so long?" You asked him and caress his shoulder. Dazai shifted from his seat and starting to be more serious. The gesture you just did to Atsushi probably he didn't like it

" Ah- eh i don't know where to put y/n" Atsushi is blushing while giving the book to you. "Hmmm let's see"

Dazai couldn't even gulp his own saliva because of his mix feeling right now. "Please dont put it there, please dont put it there."

"Here!" You tucked the book inside the bookshelves blocking the mini camera

"goddamnit!" He looked away irritated  and tried to massage his temples. "I don't know what you guys talking about . i can only watch you and now that my only way is useless. Why did y/n need to do that gesture?!" Dazai is trying to hold his temper and no to throw his things. His right leg is shaking

" I'll let y/n finally see my true intentions"
