I expected him to at least act cold towards me. But not even that. He simply smiled and disappeared into the busy hubbub of the kitchen.
I felt sick to the stomach, I wasn't hungry anymore. I wanted to go and find him and tell him that it was a misunderstanding.
Wait
Why did I want to do that anyway? it's not like we were in a relationship. I shouldn't have to feel guilty hanging around with other men.
But the uneasy feeling didn't leave the pit of my stomach all evening.
While I was contemplating what to do, Taehyung was watching me with an amused expression.
"What?" I demanded. He just scoffed and asked for the bill. I hadn't even touched my food.
"WAITER! Pack this food up" he yelled across the restaurant. He narrowed his eyes at the waiter who was scurrying towards us and shook his head.
"No, I want Jungkook to bring it" he announced.
He really was evil.
Jungkook planted a smile on his face and came with the bill. I didn't wait a second and rushed out of the restaurant doors. I couldn't bear to look at his face.
I called a cab and went home.
Luckily, Taehyung didn't bother calling me. He knew what he was doing and I didn't appreciate it.
I should call him though.
He looked beyond hurt this evening. I shook the thoughts out of my head and opened my laptop to finish my assignments.
As I was finishing my 500 word essay, an unwelcoming name flashed on the screen of my phone. It was Taehyung.
"What?" I answered.
"I just wanted to let you know I had a really fun evening. And if you want I can come over and.. you know, show you what you've been missing baby"
I physically facepalmed.
"What makes you think I'll just hook up with you after everything you've done? And you really crossed the line tonight with Jungkook. You didn't have to milk the situation like that.
And. Don't. Ever. Call. Me. Baby."
I cut the call and blocked his number.
I finally decided to get some beauty rest so I could wake up early for school tomorrow.
I'll go to him and explain the situation..
Those were the last words in my head before I drifted into the drowsy darkness of my dreams.
