Today was just another normal Friday. After working for 8 hours straight at the NYPD I tiredly went home to get some rest. I love being an officer but especially as a woman it can be quite exhausting. People act like as if they are some sort of alpha just because they are men. Why is our world so dominated by sexism? Can't they all get their shit together and treat everyone equally? But no, these people are just straight up douche bags without any brain cells in their head. But why complain, if they won't change anything? I step out of my car to go into to my apartment. My apartment is rather small and comfortable, but I love it. I have two bedrooms, one bathroom and a little balcony, from which you have the view over New York. I guess I have to love it because I'm not a billionaire who lives in a huge tower with my own name written on it in the middle of New York. You know who does live like that? My dear friend Tony Stark. I know what you all are thinking: 'Oh my god she is friends with THE Iron Man'. Well I mean yes I am but if I would think like that, I would go absolutely crazy every time I see him. The first time I met him I was on police patrol with one of my colleagues Ashton. We got the call that a drunk 38 year old man in a costume was in the middle of the time square shooting with laser blaster at random things while singing Back to Black by ACDC. I think there is no better way to describe him than this call. We got their and there he was: The Iron Man. But it wasn't the Iron Man you knew from the news. He was drunk and absolutely lost. I went up to him and told him to stop shooting at things or we would have to take further actions. He immediately stopped everything and started flirting with me. Let me tell you his flirting was horrible. I had a really hard trying to keep my shit together and not burst out laughing. Ashton told me to get in the car because it would be' too dangerous for me as a woman'. I got angry but because I'm a professional grown up officer, I just did what he told me to not let this situation escalate. But just as I turned around to face the car, someone spoke up with a mess of a voice. Tony Stark himself defended me by telling Ashton, that the situation would be way more dangerous for him than for me, because I would be stronger than him. To summarize it: We arrested him but he bought himself free. I thanked him for defending me and since then we were friends. But I have to say sometimes it's quite hard being friends with him, because let's be honest: He is hot as hell. Anyways I opened the door as I got a message from Pepper. Pepper is the owner of stark industries and his former girlfriend. They broke up 3 years ago, because he cheated on her. Since then they are only friends.

Pepper:

Hey (Y/N), how you are doing? I wanted to ask you, if you could come and talk to him, because he has been in his workshop for nearly three days now without sleeping

(Y/N):

Yes of course. I'll be there in 10 minutes.

Pepper:

Thank you so much. You are an angel

Sometimes Stark gets stuck in his workshop without sleeping or eating for days. If Pepper can't change his mind, she calls me, because most times he rather listens to me than to her. I quickly changed into a pair of leggings and a comfortable shirt before driving to the tower. All of the other Avengers know me and they are all really nice. They are kind of like me second family. As I entered his huge driveway to drive into the back of his garage I got greeted by Jarvis.

"Welcome Miss (Y/LN), I am happy to acknowledge your presence again."

"Hello Jarvis. I told you, you should call me (Y/FN) and I am happy to hear your voice again, as well. Is Stark in his workshop?"

"Yes, Miss (Y/FN)."

"How long has he been there?"

"I am not allowed to tell you that. Mister Stark especially told me the order to not do it. But since I care about hime, as much as I can do as a artificial intelligence I am going to tell you anyways. He has been there for 68 hours."
