I woke up to the sun shining on my face. Uuuh! I forgot to close my curtain and it's so cold. Wait...how did I get here?. Dad. I wonder if he's still around. I quickly take a shower and brush my teeth and tie my hair in a messy bun. I chose a simple sunflower sundress and flats and went down stairs after picking up my phone and school bag from my homework table. Oh my God! I forgot to do my homework! I looked at the time and it was still 7:15 so I had 45 mins to reach school. Haa! I quickly do my English homework which was an essay then grab two granola bars and a banana.
"Sweetie" my mom called standing by the kitchen door.
"Good morning Mom. I'm off to school, love you. Bye" I said kissing her cheek and going to the front lawn to wait for Jeannie.
After five minutes, she drives up in front of my house
"Come on. I don't want to be late" she shouted
"Says the girl that come out late" I rolled my eyes and opened the passenger door.
"Whatever" she replied turning on the ignition and driving off.
"Thank God today is friday. I'm so happy I can stay bed throughout tomorrow. I hate school" I groaned as I came out of the car.
"Sorry about that but we're going shopping tomorrow" wait what?
" No no no. You don't get to spoil my Saturday nap. I'm not going for shopping with you. Not tomorrow" I said firmly as we headed for her locker.
"Please" she whined " I'm running out of clothes and accessories. I need new undies too! " she cried. Can't she just stay a whole week without shopping? I'm tired and I need my Saturday 4-hour nap.
"Fine 2 hours and I'm out"
"Thank you so much" she squealed jumping up and down.
"Annie" Jeannie immediately turned her head with so much force I thought it was going to snap. She flushed bright red when she saw Jordan.
"H-hi" she stuttered looking everywhere but him. Students gasped and some pointed whispering things I couldn't hear. But I'm really sure of what they're saying.
"Hi A-bear" he said to me and gave me a bear hug. Weird. I awkwardly pulled myself out of his embrace and gave him a small smile.
"What's up"
" Nothing, class? " he asked
" yeah...I just need to get my book" I replied. Jeannie closed her locker and we went to mine. I brought out my chemistry notebook then we went to class together before the bell rang. As usual, the class was empty. I just wonder why students intentionally wait till the bell rings for them to go to class. I mean what's the use when you can actually cone earlier and get the window seat...which is exactly where I'm heading to. I sat down by the window and Jeannie took the seat beside me while Jordan took the seat in front of me which I'm guessing he took so he could easily turn and look at Jeannie...whipped. I huff and rest my head on my desk hoping to catch some sleep before the class starts.
" So...A-bear, what are we doing tomorrow" I groan and ignore him.
" We're going shopping tomorrow" Jeannie replied and I'm pretty sure she was grinning from ear to ear.
" can I tag along?" That made me lift my head up like a flash. I mean which guy would willingly want to following girls for shopping!. Jeannie squealed saying a quick yes
"And why would you want to come? " I asked clearly surprised. I mean what the actual fuck?
"Can't a guy go shopping?"
"Yeah right" and then it clicks "Jeannie..." I said with a huge grin "Can he just follow you while I stay back home? Pleeeeeaaaaasssee "
"NO No no...that is so not happening. You already promised" she whined. The bell rang and students started entering the class. I rolled my eyes at her knowing I couldn't get away with it.After school, I went home did my homework the whole evening, had dinner and slept. Nothing special about my day. The next day being Saturday, I slept till 12:00 when Jeannie came up to my room literally dragging out from bed for shopping. Urrgh!...I'm so tired and my bones are still asleep.
"Alisha you need to hurry up! I don't want to shop late"
"Fine" I groaned walking to my bathroom. I quickly took my bath and brushed my teeth. I put on my pink hoodie and black ripped jeans then pulled my hair up in a messy bun leaving out some strands on my face. I put on a black and white nike.
" let's get this done with "
"Jeannie can't you just pick a dress? My feet are killing me here. We've been here for over an hour and you've picked nothing! Let's just go to another store" I said. We've gone through every cloth section more than twice! And yet she's picked nothing. I mean what the he'll is she looking for! My frustration was killing me. Jordan just sat in a bench kicking ice cream and some snacks he bought on the way. Why did he even bother cknjng with us again?
" I think you'd look nice in that dress " Jordan said to Jeannie, pointing at a blue dress that had a beautiful neckline and a low cut back with crisscrossed tiny straps. I was indeed beautiful and simple. I liked it.
"You think?...I wonder if they have the a white one. This may do though " Jeannie replied with a shrug and took it to the dressing room. I went to Jordan and sat down beside him waiting for Jeannie to come out. After like five mins...
" wow..y-you look beautiful Annie" Jordan stuttered. He eyes looked like they were going to budge out of their sockets and I saw his cheeks turn pink while he rubbed his palm behind his neck. Jeannie muttered a shy 'thank you ' and looked at me for a compliment. I gave her a huge grin and nodded after which she turned around with a wink and went back to the dressing room. She paid for the gown and we left to the neck store. After 2 hours, Jeannie came out carrying 4 bags which contained some lingerie, dresses, hand bags, heels and a trouser. I was carrying a back that had a new hoodie, an Adidas sneakers and a nice blue Jean trouser. Jordan came out with more food. The guy and food. I chuckled at the thought as we entered Jordan's car so he could drop us at our homes. Well, my Saturday wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be.
Another chapter after how many months😂...I know I losing you guys but I just can't help the fact that I'm lacking inspiration!...please please please forgive me😭...I'm so sorry everyone. I promise to try and updated more frequently (keyword being try). Again I'm so sorry for the huge delay and fir bering a shitty author. I know this chapter isn't much and isn't so interesting but just know that I'm going to try my best to improve. You guys can give me ideas!...they help a lot guys. So please if you have any idea on what should happen in the next chapter tell me, I'd be glad to add it up. Think of it as being my assistant. Pluss!!!! 106 views?....gahhhh!!! I can't believe it.
