Chapter Eight

It took awhile before Xander was calm enough to talk about what was going on.

The other three men waited but also shared the same hurt and rage as Xander gave off.

"I want him dead!" Xander shouted banging his fist on the marble counter. Adrian stood by him and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"We will find her Xander and they will be killed...but for now we all need to be filled in in what he wants.  What chip?" Adrian questioned and he stood near Xander his eyes watching him.

Xander tried to remember as much as he could but his anger rose yet again when nothing came into mind..His memories of who he once was locked away behind a door he could not unlock.

He took out a lot of locations 16 years ago when he lost control. So as to which one exactly was unknown to him.

A silence filled the room as he sat there trying to consatrate. None of the men dared to disturb him as he grew lost in his thoughts.

Dante received a call and stepped outside leaving Adrian and Wyatt to talk quietly amongst themselves.

They tried to price together the obvious...They knew names but they needed to know more of who and what They were dealing with. Wyatt soon left with Dante to find out more..While Adrian left Xander alone to his thoughts.

The evening soon faded as the moon and stars glowed dimly in the dark misty sky.

Xander had fallen asleep in his thoughts.

"Xander" Alex called out to him. Her figure neared him and layed a soft warm hand on his cheek. Her blue eyes shined with so much life holding his gaze as she gentally smiled.

Xander reached towards her taking her beautiful face between his hands and tester his forehead against hers.

She felt warm and soft...He sighed as he inhaled her lavander sent then spoke breaking the silence.

"I lost our baby, all this doesn't make sense"He whispered hurting by his confession as Alex looked up at him.

"She's tough bit don't long...in her heart you'll find the answers you seek"She told him faintly then layed a kiss on his lips.

Her voice comforted him. It was as if she never left him. Her kiss still sent electric connection throughout him, and just like that she was gone leaving Xander alone in a darkness as the sound of Hailey's baby Cry's echoed throughout the room he was lost in.

Adrian came into the dining room where a sleeping Xander called out for Hailey as if in a nightmare but he questioned if he should wake him or not.

Adrian was about to walk away when Xander awoke. Confusion written clear across his face. Xanders honey brown eyes met Adrian's curious blue ones.

"In her heart I'll find the answers?"Xander spoking as if asking a question hoping maybe Adrian would know, but Adrian was just as confused even after Cancer told him of the dream.

Alex and Xander had a connection that was closer than most. So I might have ment something. Even if it wasn't really Alex it could be a subconscious memory of where he can find what he needs. Dante and Wyatt joined them holding files.

"Where dealing with bigger than we've come across in our past." Dante said signing.

"How big?" Xander asked

Wyatt handed him a black folder with pictures and mugshots. Xander flipped through it as a silent Adrian looked as well.

"Their called El Rojos Cartel, one of the biggest and most ruthless" Dante spoke up as Adrian focused on the words he spoke.

"But there not the biggest and only one... So why start a war for a small chip?" Cancer said angerly as he threw the file down on the table.

"The drug Cartel operates in Columbia, Honduras, Bolivia, Peru, Canada, Europe, and some of America. Were talking about 80% of the world wide cocaine market..their bringing in 420,000,000 a week so that chip is most likely the whole operations information..why they would even create on is beyond me" Wyatt Added

"Great so I handed my daughter the the worst there is!?"

"Be glad their not the one that operates on every block in the world ..now that one is deadly" Wyatt said trying to give comfort.

"They have another thing coming if they think this family will bow down at their commands, bullshit, Hailey will be home if it means I won't be" Adrian spoke as anger and sternness flowed. Never did Adrian let someone control him or his family and he won't start now. Some were lost along the way, but he refused to lose more.

"About time you spoke up..I was thinking I had to do the whole boss thing alone" Dante smiled glad he had Adrian back.

"Thus is how it goes Wyatt..you were always the Hacker, so I think its time to hack into some shit and find more to them." Adrian told Wyatt.

"You already know I got this bro" Wyatt answered.

"Xander once Wyatt finds them, you make em talk"

"I got that covered" Xander grinned

"Just don't kill em before they talk Xander" Dante added remembering that his viciousness when he lost his control was a weakness.

"I'll do what I can"

Adrian sighed. It was time they picked up what they all once were, Assassin, a team that once was a lethal and dangerous force.
