⭐⭐Xander dismissed the call, an anger filled him as the old man known as Emilio spoke.

Apart of him couldn't believe he had Hailey even when he asked to speak to her he prolonged his response, but if he did or not Cancer couldn't risk his daughters life thinking he might not.

As much as he wanted to throw his phone in a rage he contained himself. He knew right now this phone was his only communication with this man.

"Damn it!" He cursed loudly. A rage in his voice. Adrian and Wyatt knew it was bad because Xander was usually a calm person.

He hasn't been dysfunctional for a long time.

"I'm sorry" Wyatt apologized the feeling of guilt for letting it happen came over him once again.

Xander held himself because he knew it wasn't Wyatt's fault. He did what he could to help including keeping an eye out for his daughter in the first place. He patted Wyatt's shoulder as he walked past him to the window.

" I promised I'd never let harm happen to her and I did...I failed..Alex would-"

"-have been proud of you Xander.. You raise Hailey right..what happened was not yours or anyone's fault. You havent failed UNLESS you give up now" Dante interrupted as he joined the guys who were surprised to see him.

He smiled as he joined his old friends. Dante received Adrian 's call and headed to help as soon as possible. He stood in a black suit, his physical appearance was as if he didn't age since the last time they seen him 16 years ago.

"Together we will bring down the people who took her" Adrian added looking at Xander as he nodded taking a deep breath a sense of calmness filled him. He knew together they were stronger.

They sat together around the marble table as they all talked about what they knew and what they needed to find out.

Adrian 's phone rang as he dismissed himself confused as to why his son Aiden was calling him when he was supposed to be upstairs in his room.

"Why are you calli-"

"Look dad I left...mom needed me"

" What's wrong?" Adrian questioned hoping Joyce was fine.

"She's fine, honest..I'll be back soon" Aiden said calmly as he ended the call in case his father began to ask more questions.

Adrian was confused. Usually Joyce would pick up Aiden during the afternoons never at midnight.

Maybe it was important. Aiden was always truthful.

So Adrian didn't call Joyce for the reason of his son thinking he didn't trust him, and Adien never gave him a reason to not trust.

Rejoining the men they talked about the past. How they overcame so much to get where they now stood.

"I think the only one still involved in this line of work is you Dante" Xander added.

"Someone had to stay connected" He chuckled

"And it looks like works been keeping you young bro..we 40 but how come you look like you late 20s and shit" Wyatt said as they all laughed.

"Hey I try...basically work does" he smiled as they laughed.

"So did you ever meet the one?" Xander questioned.

"Not since you stole her heart"Dante joked"but I had beautiful woman just not the one" He said.

" You'll find her" Xander finally said as he agreed.

"So it seems to me all of our love life's suck which leaves us to be successful in one aspect of our lifes" Dante joked.

" Which is?" Adrian spoke calmly. His blue eyes smiling as Dante stood up.

"Business ...considering the fact I'm still a Don..you and Xander own a multi billion corporation and own a auto franchise..then we have Wyatt" he said smiling as all eyes fell on Wyatt who grinned" who still is an assassin and a smart wealthy one at that"

"I taught you gave that up?" Xander asked

"After losing Brianne it was the only way I coped" he said saddened by the mere mention of her name. Even to this day he couldn't get over the loss of his only love. Memories of her flooded his mind again as tears threatened to fall, but he held it in as Xander patted his back.

Xander was in the same situation losing Alex.

Wyatt looked into Adrian's blue eyes and finally spoke.

"Don't mess up with Joyce, find a way to fix it before you regret it bro" wyatt smiled

"I told you" Xander laughed as he playfully pushed a embarrassed Adrian.

"Alright" Adrian laughed trying to get it over with until Dante spoke after he glared at a incoming text.

" I think we about to find out more on these guys soon"
