"ryujin, where the hell were you?!" chaeryeong asked
"oh, uhm, my mother called and said she needed my help with some family matters."
"then why are you here instead of the front gates?"
"after I came back, I went to find my handkerchief since yeji hid it somewhere here. look I found it!" ryujin lied as she waved her hanky
"fine! I believe you! but please tell me next time! you got me all worried!" chaeryeong said as she went to hug ryujin
ryujin softly chuckled and hugged chaeryeong as well
"I will, princess. sorry for making you worry."
"it's fine! but lunch is almost over, have you eaten yet?"
as if on cue, ryujin's stomach growled and chaeryeong tsked
"looks like you haven't." chaeryeong answered herself with a disapproving tone as she shook her head lightly
chaeryeong intertwined her hands together with ryujin as she dragged her towards the cafeteria
"what's with the rush princess?"
"like i said earlier. lunch is almost over. i can't have you starving. i'd feel guilty." chaeryeong pouted as she turned to look at ryujin
"well, we could always skip?" ryujin smirked
"you're so bad!" chaeryeong whined
"mhmm, only for you princess." ryujin said in a sultry voice as she wrapped her hands around chaeryeong's waist, pulling her closer and placing her face at the crook of chaeryeong's neck, inhaling her sweet fragrance which smelled like peaches and strawberries
" yah! shin ryujin! we're in public!" chaeryeong scolded as she tried to pull away from ryujin's grasp
ryujin tightened her hold on chaeryeong making sure she wouldn't be able to detach herself
"so?princess, even if there was billions of people watching i wouldn't let go of you."
chaeryeong's cheeks flushed then the bell rang signaling them that classes were about to start
"y-yah! we were supposed to head to the cafeteria!" chaeryeong stuttered
"princess, it's fine. I have some snacks in my backpack okey? let's go to the locker rooms now, pe is about to start."
the couple went to get changed into their pe uniforms and then headed to the school gym.
since chaeryeong had dance and ryujin had volleyball, the two of them got separated but their still in the same room so they were fine by it.
