Chapter 4

The next day I arrive at the station 15 minutes early to see Jake. I had had a really good night with him and can not wait to see him again. I find him in the shop chatting with a couple of the guys.

"Hey," I walk over to them.

"Why hello there Katie," Jake says pulling me into a hug. The others all look at each other and start to laugh.

"Oh, ya real mature guys. Laugh it up," Jake rolls his eyes.

"That is exactly what we are going to do. Laugh it up good," replied one of the guys in between laughs. 

"Don't mind Mike over there, he is just an idiot. They don't even know what they are laughing at. They just laugh for the sake of it," then he brings his face to my eye to whisper to me. "He also knows it drives me crazy but don't tell him that,"

I chuckle, "It's fine. Did you tell them about me?"

"I told them I was taking you out and they all got butthurt because they all had their eyes on you,"

I turn red and he chuckles at that.

"Don't worry, you're all mine," He tells me. Making me blush more. You know what, I am starting to think he likes making me blush. He smiles... definitely likes doing it. 

I look at my watch realizing my shift was about to start.

"Well, I got to get to work," I turn to look at Jake, he drags me off, leaving the guys to laugh some more. When we are alone he pulls me into his lips.

"Ok," He said when we pulled apart, "You want to come over to my place tonight and watch a movie?"

"Umm, I don't know..." I start.

"I will make popcorn," He raises an eyebrow.

"Ok," How can I refuse him. He smiles and pulls me in for another kiss.

"awwwwwwww," Comes a collection of voices. 

"You have got to be kidding me!" Jake yells, running after them, putting Mike in a headlock. "I'll talk to you later,"

I chuckle as I walk into the building.
