(AN: This story is based on/closely related to one I read ages ago by PJO_Fangirl_13 (People meet percabeth - Emily Sanders, It's a really good book she has lots of great ideas like this one) Anyway, enjoy!)
My time at boarding school was going really well until she arrived. She meaning Annabeth Chase, the smartest and most beautiful human to ever go to this boarding school. And I hated her for it.
She moved in halfway through the year, and up until then I'd had the whole dorm room to myself, I was also the most attractive girl in school with my brown wavy hair and hazel eyes.
Every single night she would stay up working on her bloody architecture plans with the lights on, and sometimes she'd wake me up because of her screams. The screams would happen once every couple of nights, and they sometimes would keep going for over 10 minutes. I had even taken to sleeping with noise-cancelling headphones and an eye-mask. But that's not the worst thing she ever did.
About a month after she moved in here, another person transferred here, and he must have been the hottest guy alive. With his messy black hair and green eyes, he was irresistible. We started talking, and I was sure he liked me, so I did the best thing I could do, I asked him out. you might be wondering why he didn't use the same excuse as he did for other girls, the 'I have a girlfriend' one. The answer is that I didn't give time, I flounced up to him and said:
"Hey Percy, me, you, in my dorm room, 7 o'clock tomorrow, kapeesh?" and then I sashayed off. See! I am smart, if he doesn't have time to say something he can't say no.
POV change - Percy
I was super confused after Stacy came up to me, I had a girlfriend, and I didn't want to go out with her. I was just about to text her to tell her that when Annabeth called me
"Oh hi, wise-girl!... yeah?...no... yeah I know, she just did... I didn't have time... why?...you what?... okay wise-girl, if you're sure... she's not going to get too angry?... Okay I'll meet you in the library... bye, I love you"
I hung up the phone more confused than when I picked it up, what was Annabeth planning? and whatever it was, it probably wasn't gonna end up great for Stacy Greenwich. If I was going to find out anything I was going to have to go to the library.
A few hours later, I met Annabeth in the mythology section, our meeting place. She had a mean glint in her grey eyes, and I knew that Stacy was not going to have a good time on our 'date'. I sat down on the couch next to her.
"Seaweed-brain, you made it!" She exclaimed.
"I wouldn't miss it, so what's the plan? I have a funny feeling you want revenge." I asked, giving her a hug.
"You know me too well. Basically Stacy Greenwich is my sorry excuse for a roommate, and she's been going on and on about you and how much she likes you. She hasn't asked about me in days, and I'm done with her never shutting up. So when I heard she was asking you out, I decided to teach her a lesson about listening to people other than herself. All you have to do is say you'll hang out with her, but make sure not to specify that it's a date, and I'll do the rest." She plotted.
"That sounds doable... I think." I say.
"Perfect! I've gotta go now, I'll see you tomorrow. Love you seaweed-brain!" she said, kissing me on the cheek.
"Love you wise-girl".
(AN: Part two is coming tomorrow, I promise. Also if you liked this don't forget to vote and/or comment any feedback you have below. One more thing, I'm going to start doing questions, and today's is in which book did Percy and Annabeth kiss first? the first person to get it right can be in my next story (as a main or side character). Thanks, Iris 🌈)
