(AN: hey guys, I'm back! This time it's a classic, cliché YouTube video one. hopefully, I can make it not too cringy or anything. Annabeth and Percy are 19. Once the video starts the main character's thoughts are in italic, and PJ= Percy, PM=Piper and AC=Annabeth. Enjoy!)
I slump down onto my desk chair, I have so much homework that it's not even funny. Seriously, if we spend all day at school, why do we have to do more at home? And it doesn't help that there's a whole internet of more interesting things to do, I mean anything is more interesting than Pythagoras theorem or whatever I'm supposed to be learning.
I'm about to just get on with it when my computer dings. A notification pops up on the screen and all thoughts of homework are pushed out of the window. My favourite Youtuber, Annabeth Chase, has just released a new video after more than two months of nothing! I click on the video titled 'Who Knows Me Metter? Best friend VS Boyfriend' I didn't know she had a boyfriend...
"Hi, it's Annabeth here and welcome to another video, sorry for the long hiatus. I'm here today with my boyfriend Percy and my best friend Piper."
I notice that Annabeth different, her skin is darker and riddled with scars, and she's taller and more athletic than in her last video. I wonder what she's been through in the past couple of months...
"We're doing the who knows me better challenge!"
Piper smirks.
"I think we all know who's gonna win this, I can't believe I even agreed to it."
I notice how pretty Piper is, she has choppy brown hair woven with feathers, and she's wearing a plain t-shirt with shorts. She looks like she's put absolutely no effort into even brushing her hair and yet she still looks amazing. The boy sitting on the other side of Annabeth must be Percy, he's super hot. (AN: I don't think you need to read another description of Percy, we all know what he looks like) She looks down at her phone, beginning to read the questions.
AC: Ok, first question, what was my first pet?
PM: um... Mrs O'Leary? Or maybe a guinea-pig you had when you were younger?
AC: No, Percy?
PJ: Oh, oh oh! I know this one... Hang on... No, nevermind, Cerberus isn't yours...
AC: You guys are hopeless, and that was a trick question. I've never had a pet...
She looks sad for a moment, but then her eyes light up again.
AC: Nevermind, next question... what are my two favourite TV shows...
PJ: National geographic and Grand Designs!
Piper looks miffed.
PM: Hey! that isn't fair, you guys live together! Obviously he knows your favourite TV show.
They live together... aren't they like 19? The video seems to cut, meaning that a long argument was probably edited out. Pipers face is a bit red and Percy looks smug.
AC: Um... let's get on with the questions. Who's the most famous person I've met?
The group give each other a weird stare, before starting to snicker.
PJ: Zeus?
Thunder booms in the distance, Annabeth elbows him and he winces.
PJ: I mean... Not Zeus...
Annabeth roles her eyes and Piper speaks up.
PM: He means my dad, Tristan McLean, he's playing Zeus in an upcoming movie...
AC: You know what, this video is a complete mess. Let's just do two more questions and be done.
Percy leans over and kisses Annabeth, she smiles
PJ: Well, what's the next question... I like testing my knowledge on something I know a lot about.
Annabeth squints over her phone, reading the next question.
AC: What's my favourite board game?
This time it's Piper who jumps in.
PM: I know this one, Monopoly!
Percy looks surprised.
PJ: I've never played monopoly with you, I had no idea you liked it so much! why didn't you tell me? We could have played it last night...
Piper cuts him off.
PM: You do not wanna see her play monopoly, she gets... intense.
There's another cut, and this time they'rs all wearing different clothes.
AC: Sorry, we had to stop filming yesterday. there was an... emergency. Anyway, the final question is...
She squints down at her phone, reading as she says the words.
AC: Have I lost my virg... oh... oh no...I wasn't going to read this question!
Percy's face turns bright red, and Piper starts laughing so hard that she falls off her chair. I laugh along with her, this is the funniest thing I've seen in a while. Annabeth looks mortified, and she recites her outro while trying not to look at Percy and Piper. The video stops, and as it shuts off I hear Piper questioning them.
"So that time Frank found you on the Argo II..."
Wow, that was an interesting video... a much better use of my time than all my overdue homework.
