"Well that was weird" Kane commented.  I'm guessing he was talking about what had occurred at Mama Bear's cafe . I kept quite a clear tell tale that I wanted him to stay silent. But Kane being Kane was too dense ( well partially, I wouldn't have made him my beta if he was a dumb fuck )to realise that. I know. I know. It wasn't the nicest thing to say about my beta but gosh could he just shut up.

"Do you think she knows about us ?" he asked as we walked down the dim red brick walled corridor heading towards my office.

"What about us ?"

"You heard what she said right " he raised his hand In a 'asking a question ' manner and stared at me. I grunted.

" What did she mean when she asked, What am i and vampires?" He ran a hand through his blond hair in frustration messing it up causing a few strands to fall onto his face. "Yep,she definately knows something ." He concluded.

As we continued our walk through the long ass corridor, he remained silent. Immensed in his thoughts. Thank Goddess. 

"Despite her being crazy she is hot. " I  internally groaned.  Spoke to fucking soon. " and that ass ! " I growled warning him to choose his next words carefully.  " imagine holding that hair long curly hair while tapping that from the back. " I snapped, pushed him against the wall and fisted my hands onto his t-shirt then growled louder ,my eyes flashing beast.

He lowered his head, showing me his neck. A sign of submission. Releasing him from my hold , I opened the door and walked into the office. He followed.

"Damn man , what has gotten into you? You seriously need to get laid . Fourteen years of no sex does this to a person. " I sighed rubbing the bridge of my nose as I sat on the black leather chair behind the large mahogany desk. Kane never did know when to stop. Adam my gamma immediately walked in before Kane could put two and two together .Good.

" I want a confirmation on the rumour about the sirens joining sides with those blood suckers." Changing the topic.

" Already ahead of you ,Alpha , am meeting up with McKenzie tonight" Kane said. Play time was over and it was back to business . That is one thing I liked about Kane he could go from playful to serious in a second.

"We need to know which creatures are our allies . The vampires are upto something and we must be prepared. Set a meeting up with all the werewolf pack alphas in Europe. " I said to no one in particular . They would separate themselves accordingly.

"Since am already meeting up with Kenzie tonight. I will meet up with the witches and shifters before going to Kenzie ." Shifters were like Lycans and werewolves the only difference was we could only shift into one animal ,they could shift into different kinds of animals and their mates weren't chosen by any god or goddess .

I looked at Kane " I want that information before you go to McKenzie . She might sabotage us"

"That means I will set up the meeting with the werewolf Alphas" with that Adam left the office.

"What about the lycans?" Kane queried.

"I have already talked to them. The annual dinner has been changed to next week. " i added "While your around town I need more information on the blood bath parties"

" Yes Alpha" Kane left.

I sighed. Our pending list of things to do was getting longer and longer.

I unlocked the drawer on my bottom left and removed a picture of a chocolate skinned girl with two pigtails holding a teddy bear that was slightly bigger than her. She grinned widely revealing the tooth gaps she had from losing her baby teeth.
