Lumiose City, Academy - Afternoon
(No POV)
After the presentation, Ash and his new friends headed to their classes. The first class was about Pokemon types which he found to be a bit interesting since he was learning about different types that Pokemon have. However, Ash was hoping he would bump into his brother but didn't seem to see him anywhere, especially in his next class which was about raising Pokemon eggs. He found it kinda boring but his friend Brock found it interesting since he started to flirt with the professor who is an expert on Pokemon eggs. Only for Brock to be pulled by the ear by Misty to get back in his seat. The rest of the day went as usual as the next class was about the History of Legendaries and Mythical Pokemon. To which Ash found fascinating since he learned many different types of Legendaries including Mythicals as well as the history of how they were created by "The Original One" known as Arceus.
After class, it was time for lunch as the group sat in a group table in the cafeteria. Everyone was chatting amongst themselves. Ash was walking with his tray of food with Pikachu on his left shoulder, he was hoping he would spot Alain somewhere but couldn't find him anywhere. Just then...
"Yo! Ashy-boy! Come seat with us!" Gary called out to which Ash noticed. He made his way through the other tables as he went to his friends' table.
"Here Ash! Why don't you seat next to me." Serena said as she moved to the side to allow Ash to seat next to her. Pikachu jumped off of Ash's shoulder and began to eat the food that Ash gave him along with the other pokemon. However, Calem didn't like how Ash was sitting close to Serena. He kept a good eye on him just so he wouldn't try anything funny with his cousin.
As the group was eating, Gary looked up at Ash and notice he was looking around the area. He thought Ash was looking for his brother. But shrugged it off once he gabled down his food.
"So Ash-Boy. How are you liking school so far?" Gary asked getting Ash's attention.
Ash turned to Gary and smiled.
"So far it's not bad," Ash replied.
"Oh, it will get better trust me," Barry spoke to which it confused Ash.
"Why you say that?" he asked.
"Our next class is about Battling...and most of the students get paired up with who they battle," Brock explained.
"Not to mention it helps us develop different strategies for battles," Sawyer added to which he took out his notebook and pen and began writing things down.
Ash looked at the green-haired boy curious as to why he is writing in his notebook.
"Say, what are you writing there?" Ash asked curiously.
Sawyer looked up to Ash as he finished writing. He closed his notebook and put it away in his backpack.
"Oh, just some strategies for battles since I plan to be a great battler someday!" Sawyer announced with pride in his voice.
Everyone chuckled at Sawyer's enthusiasm. Hau patted his head teasingly to which Sawyer found it annoying.
"Yep, that's my cousin for you! Always aiming high!" Hau laughed.
Serena then turned to Ash as she finished eating her food.
"So Ash, tell us more about yourself and you also said you came with your brother right?" Serena questioned.
