A/N: Hello Everyone! I'm back with Chapter 5! I know it's been a while but I finally got done writing this chapter. This is part 2 of Ash and Cross's battle! Anyways enjoy!

Lumiose Academy (Gym) - Afternoon
(No POV)
"Incinaroar is unable to battle!" The referee announced. "Charizard wins!"
Everyone in the gym was shocked at the outcome of the battle. Cross's Pokemon lay in defeat! Ash's friends couldn't believe their eyes as Ash had beaten one of Cross's strong pokemon. Calem looked dumbfounded as he couldn't believe his eyes that the new kid manages to beat one of Cross's Pokemon. Something he could never do when he challenged Cross before.
Charizard roared in victory as he let out flames in the air from his mouth. Ash and Pikachu smiled as they ran to their friend.
"You did it, Charizard!" Ash congratulated as he hugged his pokemon and Pikachu joined in.
"RAWR" Charizard growled happily as he liked the affection he was receiving from his trainer as well as Pikachu.
"He did it! He won!" Bonnie cheered as well as the others.
"That was awesome! Way to go Cuz!" Max exclaimed happily for his cousin's victory.
"Incredible! That Charizard of his is really powerful!" Iris said very intrigued by Ash's Pokemon.
"Way to stick it to him, Ashy-Boy!" Gary cheered.
Serena smiled as she was happy that Ash won the first round. Still, she couldn't believe that the new kid was her childhood friend back when they were little.
'I can't believe it is him!' Serena exclaimed in her thoughts. 'I thought he looked familiar! I finally get the chance to see him again!'
Cross took out his Pokeball and returned his beaten Pokemon back to its ball. He looked at Ash with such hate. He couldn't believe he lost to that same person he beat four years ago. Let alone to the Pokemon he abandoned because he thought it was weak.
Cross took out his next Pokeball as he continued to glare daggers at Ash. Nobody makes a fool out of him and gets away with it.
"Don't celebrate just yet! We still have one more round to go!" Cross called out with rage in his voice.
Ash and Pikachu looked at Cross as they stopped hugging Charizard. They noticed the look on Cross's face was that of pure rage now. Ash stood ready for the next round as his Charizard as well.
"Let's go, Tyrantrum!" Cross exclaimed.
He threw his Pokeball and released a Tyrannosaurus rex looking Pokemon on the field. The dinosaur Pokemon roared menacingly at Charizard so loudly that the whole class had to cover their ears especially Ash's friends.
