Chapter 4- Audtions are stressful

I waited. Melody went across the street to go get some coffee since it was still pretty early.

My meeting wasn't that long thank god. It was only 15 minutes. Hopefully I get the part.

Ugh I have to date someone not fun.

Yes maybe it's time since it been three years since Ricky. But still I haven't seen anyone from salt lake in 5 years expect him when he flew all the way over here to tell me he couldn't keep doing the long distance. What did he expect me to move back to Utah.

I need to get him out my head. I wonder how his channel is doing. I shouldn't check.

"Nina Salazar-Roberts!" A lady yelled my name

I got up and went in the room.

"Okay Nina can you sing the song first"
I nodded

"What are you going to be singing?" The lady asked I didn't recognize her at all

"I'm going to be singing River by that girl bishop"
"Excellent choice!" She said with a smile

Okay Nini think angry. Get mad Nini you don't give a shit type. I'm the boss. I'm the leader let's get this part.

"I'm not some toy. Just because I'm not apart of the gang doesn't mean you don't take my orders. You disobey me your dead. And you all know how easy it is for us Rivera's to kill and not get caught. So if I say don't follow me around you know what you do" her smile grew bigger as I put my anger in to the audition. I grew my angst into it.

"That was excellent Nina I hope you get the role" she said

I left the room and started to walk out to see Melody sipping coffee. And holding one.

"You ready?" I asked her she looked up. Sat up and handed me the coffee cup.

"Yeah lets go" she said as we walked out.

"How the audition go?" She asked
"I think it went good I wonder who's playing as the love interest"

"I know some one who's partners with are company is auditioning for that lead male character" she said taking a sip

"Is that who your dad wants me to date?" we walked out the office and started walking down the side walk.
