A conversation with Thawne

(Rachel Stewart had recently come to earth 1. She has a superpower that she can create super-powerful shields that can absorb the energy of anyone who tries to harm her. she know that wells is Thawne because a similar thing happened on her earth. After she has double checked everything she decided to confront him.)

Rachel's POV

"Now is the best time you" tell yourself.

"Dr. wells can I have a word with you?"

"Yeah sure Ms. Stewart why not? Come let's go to the lab"

"what about the lobby?"

He looked puzzled but nodded and followed me to the lobby.

"we can go inside if you want, dr wells"

"Inside?"

"Yes, inside the time vault. Of course, you know of it. Don't you?"

He looked shocked for a split second but masked it with a smile that looked sinister on his face.

"as you wish Ms. Stewart"

He looked around and placed his hand on a specific wall. It opened, slowly parting from the middle.

"pls come inside Ms. Stewart. "

I did as he asked.

Inside, the time vault was a dark white colour with raised dots on its walls. In the front of the room was a tall console of sorts. my companion went in and beckoned for me to come in.

"talk" he said with a silent fury in his voice.

"you can stand up, stretch your legs if you want. I won't judge. "I said while gesturing with my hands.

he looked angry, borderline furious if his eyes were any indicator. He asked in a voice that suppressed any anger "what do you want?"

"I want you to get up. "

"what are you talking about? I can't" his face showed desperation and sadness.

"get the hell up, thawne"

The expression of desperation vanished into the air. "who are you?"

"I am everything that I said I was. I am not the one who has been lying for years, I am not the one pretending to be the good guy even while being the opposite. I am not the one who ruined someone's life." I looked him dead in the eye. "tell me do you regret it? Did you regret it even for a second?"

"no, I didn't" he said it with such pride. "at least not for the things that you think. You see I am stuck here. I lost my speed and was stuck here. I regret I was not that thorough. It was not my intention to kill Nora Allen. I wanted to kill him. The 11-year-old helpless version of him anyway but Barry, the grown-up Barry came there and took him away. I was so angry that my plan had failed that I took out my revenge on Nora Allen. It felt less sweet. Not worth the trouble. but once I met Barry, little alone Barry, oh, it was worth everything. An email gets sent to cisco exactly 2 hours from now. And not an email id you will find the password for. At least not in three chances. So, go ahead thawne. Go ahead and kill me for it to only lead to your doom."

"then why invite me here?"

"just to tell you that you are not more powerful than I am. I hope you remember that. I will see you later, fighting on the opposite side. Good bye."
