Who Cares?

Chapter 11 - Regrets

After Eraserhead headed the two villains to their dorms, he lazily walked his way to the Principal's office, where all teachers are gathered. All eyes were on him when he entered, and he went to his seat with a sigh, knowing that all of them had questions.

"So, have you asked why Midoriya's eyes went red in the earlier battle?" Nezu said while sipping his tea, while the other teachers waited for his response.

"The other two said that it was Midoriya's emergency state." Aizawa said, but as he was about to continue, All Might interjected him.

"Emergency State? Like a failsafe?" All Might asked, and Aizawa was itching to land a punch to this man but held back. After all, if All Might just gave Midoriya a little hope in the past, probably this whole problem will not exist to begin with and he will be teaching a kid with a potential to be a hero. If only he was the one who met Midoriya that day and not All Might then maybe those thousand lives are still living this day. Maybe his friend will not die and will be still a hero alongside him and Mic.

"Somehow I think. They said that his emergency state allows him to lost control and will only stop until his opponents drop dead. One thing to stop him from that state is to knock him out." Aizawa informed the teachers, which some nodded and some kept a blank or shocked face. Aizawa then closed his eyes and let the information to settle in the teachers first.

"Then probably we need to keep him in check. With that powerful quirk in him and a failsafe like that, people will soon die." Cementoss replied, which Nezu nodded in approval.

"I agree, for now let's have more teachers to watch the three. Aizawa can take an off if he wanted to rest." Nezu said while looking at Aizawa, which Aizawa just shrugged and denied.

"I'm okay. I don't need an off. But if you think that adding more security to the three is okay then I have nothing to complain with." Aizawa responded as he lamely stood up and went through the door, leaving the teachers behind.

"Well, I guess that ends this meeting. Toshinori, you, Yamada and Aizawa will keep an eye to those villains and make it discreet please." Nezu said to All Might and Mic as he placed his cup on his table and the teachers swarmed out of his office. The two nodded and went out after.

Tomorrow came by quickly as Izuku was now allowed to go out of the Nurse's office, with his friends accompanying him to go to the class 2-A classroom. Eraserhead went ahead to the classroom first to enlighten the students about the situation yesterday and what will happen today. With Eraserhead not escorting them, the three goofed around before going their way to the school. People have been staring and taking glances at them. Some were murmuring but they didn't care. All that they knew that today was a day they were going to have fun, not to Izuku anyway because he was kinda tired and kinda regretted his deal to Eraserhead to make the one-on-five battles today. But oh well, guess that he underestimated the kids and that is his consequences.

When they arrived the classroom, you could see the wary expressions the class had been giving to them, especially to Izuku. Some were still sad that they didn't get to fight, and one was scared out of his shit, you know who it is. But also, let's not exclude our certain explosion boy who was glaring daggers to the green-haired boy.

Izuku sighed and greeted Aizawa, which he just nodded and went to explain today's event.

"So as Midoriya explained yesterday, you'll have one-on-five battles against the three of them." Aizawa explained, and the students groaned and the three villains grinned. Though a few students had a confused look, as they obviously saw Midoriya full of bandages.

"Is he even okay to fight us in that condition, Sensei? Kero." Asui asked, as she saw the bandages wrapped Izuku's body. Before Aizawa can even answer, Izuku scoffed and answered.
