Third Person POV

It's been a month since Eve's arrival and she seems to not been able to find a way out of the situation with her parents . Well that was until there was another knock on the door," I'll get it every one!" Eve yelled running down the stairs, she gets to the door and there at the door step was.. Rowen and Thorne the Queen and King of the Light and Dark kingdom.

" Mother ,Father , What are you doing here shouldn't you be at the Castle taking care of your Kingdom" Eve was in shock at seeing them after a couple hundred years since she met Sebastian. The night she was made crown princess, and left to be with him. Sebastian came down from the stairs as he heard his mate's stressed voice from the kitchen, and he saw two people he hoped to never see again

' " Daughter, how have you been since we last saw you?" my Mother( Rowen) asked me in her elegant tone of voice. while my father( Thorne) looked at me up and down, " Daughter, you seem to be in good health. Is that creature treating you well ?" he asked with a straight tone. I look at my father in anger , "Of course she is well , i would never harm my mate . I love her , and i am disgusted you think otherwise " i looked up at Sebastian when he spoke , and came to my side wrapped an arm around my waist and held me close.

My parents looked at my husband in disgust and than looked at me and said," Why would you soil our blood line by mating with a demon Evangeline ? How could you betray us, your own family ?!!!" i look at my mother as she yelled at me. i gave Sebastian a look and walked up to my parents and said in a level tone, " You do not insult my Mate and , he is my family now not you two. He and any children that we have in the future are my life , the only one that i truly miss from the Kingdom is my sister.You two always told me and Luna that we should marry for love ,and how you and father love each other and would die if you lost one another . That is exactly what i did and now you both betrayed me." with that i turn from them and took my leave to mine and Sebastian's room.

Sebastian's POV

My mate is certainly something , i watch my mate go up the stairs and than turn to her parents and chuckle at their shocked faces . when they compose themselves i say, "Now did you come here to just insult myself and my mate?" they glare at me and say," No we did not we came here to take her with us we want to retire and hand the crowns down to the next generation and that is our daughter and her spouse which is her and the male we have chosen ." i narrow my eyes at them and say, " After everything we have just said you still wish to take here away ? Me and Eve are mates , we are meant for one another. Yet you refuse to see that." they keep at straight face and continue ," Yes that may be what you believe, but Eve is to be the queen that she was raised to be. She must give in to the wishes of the people, and that is to marry a Fae and be the next King and Queen." i hear a shatter of glass behind me, i turn and see Eve in shock at the news that was heard .
