A man there was
Feeling too important
Ego in bloom
The most qualified,
He felt he wasHe was the "Irreplaceable man"
His absence,he thought,
Would leave a vacuum
Noone could ever fill it
A peacock in a suit"Take a bucket",I told him
"Fill it up with water
Dip your hand in it
Up to your elbow"
Still not getting it" Pull it out
And the hole that remains
Is how much your absence would be felt"
I told himStir up the water all you please
Play all you want when you enter
But stop
In a minute you'll find
It'll look just like beforeDo the best you can
Be proud of yourself
But remember
There is no"Irreplaceable man"A/N
Noone is irreplaceable or indispensable
When you're feeling too proud, remember this
