Draco watched Potter stalk off, confused by his tears. It's not like he was asking crazy questions. Well, he wasn't being the nicest person but so what. It's not like he was ever nice to Potter, except for that day at Madam Malkins, and the first day when he was so rudely refused of his friendship. But he isn't bitter about it, no way. After 10 minutes of brooding, he starts to realize that Potter is still in the bathroom. He gets up and makes his way over, the air slowly thickening up with uncontrolled magic. Ok, now Draco's getting a bit worried. He attempts to turn the knob, hoping the door wasn't locked. But it doesn't open. With a sigh, he pulls and pulls until he reaches into his core magic and centers it on opening the door. And, surprisingly, it works. The door bursts open to reveal a shaking Potter on the ground, huddled in on himself, uncontrolled magic surrounding his entire body almost like a green aura. And, without thinking, he did the only thing he thought sensible. He wrapped his arms around the golden boy, and surprisingly the magic started to evaporate, or rather, get absorbed into the room. And Potter fell unconscious onto his shoulder, leaving Draco more confused than ever.
He picked him up and carries him to the bed, settling him in. For some reason, Draco was drawn to him. He pushed Potters hair out of his face, before taking his glasses off and setting them down on the nightstand. After all that, he sits on the stiff couch in confusion. What happening to him. One moment he's treating Potter like shit, another he's caring for him like- Like you would a friend. He sighs before putting his head in his hands in exasperation. Suddenly, a grinding sound fills the room. Draco quickly looks over at Potter, hoping he wouldn't wake up. He shakes his head, shoving the thought out of his head. He looks over at the blank wall and sees that it had opened. Oh my Merlin, he's finally free. Without another thought, grabbing his satchel, he shoves his shoes on and rushes out, forgetting about Potter and the weird night/morning he had just had.

Hours go by and Harry finally wakes from the fitful sleep he had fallen into. He jolts away, still feeling memory Uncle Vernon's hands on him. He calms himself and looks around, confused about how he got from the bathroom to the bed, and then noticing Malfoy had left. With a sigh he pulled himself from the bed and got dressed slowly, not wanting to leave his closed-off safe haven. But too soon he had finished. Like the past times he had gotten stuck in the room, he walks up to the blank wall and places his hand on it, waiting for it to open. The wall creaks and opens, causing Harry so sigh. He never wants to leave the room, seeing as it was the only place he felt truly safe. He steps out and orients himself with the light of the corridor.  As soon as he is fully out of the room, the wall closes in behind him. With another sigh, he covers himself in his cloak and heads back to Gryffindor tower. He examines the corridor and sees that he was in new territory. He was close to the Dungeons, which isn't where he normally wanders to at night. But, in his defense, he had been passing by on his way to the kitchens and heard the mess Malfoy had been in. And without thinking, he had found that he had angled his way towards the noise and ended up with Malfoy of all people. Before he knows it, Harry reaches the portrait and gives the password, trying to avoid the fat lady's gaze. He mumbles a quiet thanks as he rushes in, trying to avoid the stares of everyone. He makes it halfway up the stairs before he hears someone yell his name. Cringing, he turns around and sees a very upset Hermione staring back at him.

"Harry James Potter, where have you been?? It 2 o'clock in the afternoon and I have looked everywhere!!" Sheepishly, he walks down to her at the base of the stairs. "Im sorry mione, I took a walk last night and fell asleep in the courtyard"
She rolls her eyes "Never do that again Harry! You scared us half to death" I scoff "Im pretty sure Ron didn't care. He made it perfectly clear how he felt"
"Oh Harry, he didn't mean it."

"Yes I did" Ron says from behind her "And you should see who he really is too. A manipulative jerk who just wants all the attention." This upsets Harry. After all he's been through, why would he want a bunch of attention. He just wanted to be normal. Harry walks around Hermione and stalks over to where Ron was standing. "I told you once and I won't tell you again. I didn't ask for this. For any of this. So you can just leave me alone if you're gonna be a ruddy git about it all. All I wanted was to have a normal year, and now I can't even have that. When you stop being a git, let me know" Harry walks off before Ron can get a say in. Before leaving the common room once again he turns around "Mione, I'm going out. Don't wait up for me if I'm not back for a while"
He leaves to the library, hoping its all a dream and he can wake up with his best friend normal.
