I looked down knowing what was coming. “What were you thinking? You almost killed yourself Ash!” Mum whispered. I knew Harry and Lauren were watching threw closed curtains. “I’m sorry Mum. It wasn’t supposed to happen.” I sighed. “Well, it did happen. You promised you’d try to stop Ash. Baby why do you keep doing this to yourself?” Mum asked. “I don’t know.” I shrugged. “Is there someone who takes away the pain?” she pushed on. This got me thinking. Just at that moment Brandon walked by and up the driveway and he asked Mum, “Can I talk to your son Ashton?” “No go away you creeper!” she screamed. Brandon ran off and I started laughing. “Oh baby! You’re laughing!” Mum shrieked hugging me tightly. My smile dropped but, she didn’t notice.
