“Good job man. See you at lunch.” Luke said giving me a high five. I nodded and walked into my first class. I really like Luke. He’s awesome. I think I just made my first ever friend. I sat in the back of the room next to a girl named Missy. She was always passing me notes saying how ugly I was or to take off my non prescription glasses because they were offences to people with glasses like her. I wasn’t going to put up with it today. If Luke was here he would tell me to speak up. As soon as I got the first note I couldn’t say anything. This was the worst one I’d ever got. ‘Don’t give this to the teacher or I’ll beat you up and you won’t be able to wear those ugly fake glasses or your ugly face. You’ll be in the hospital,’ is what it read. I sat quietly for the rest of the class and left at the class change bell for specials.
