Chapter 3

"Uncle... There's something that I want to tell you. " Haikaun said to Qiren after they had their dinner. They were all seated in the living room, Yibo busy with his laptop and Haoxuan was busy playing game on his phone.

"Tell me, Haikaun. " Qiren said.

"Well, you know about the Xiao family, don't you? " Haikaun asked.

"Yes, I do. What about them? " Qiren asked.

"Xiao Zhuocheng is the youngest son of their family. " Haikaun said.

"I know. Isn't he your legal advisor? " Qiren asked.

"Yes, he is. He's really a very smart guy. " Haikaun said.

"Stop beating around the bush, ge. " Yibo scoffed and Haoxuan laughed.

"What about him? " Qiren asked.

"He's really very friendly and outgoing. " Haikaun said.

"What's that got to do with uncle? " Haoxuan asked.

"Straight to the point, Haikaun. " Qiren said.

"Well, the thing is that... We're in love. " Haikaun said.

"What? " Qiren would have almost choked on air if Yibo hadn't patted his back at the right moment.

"I really love him, uncle. " Haikaun said.

"But... Aren't you planning on continuing our generation? " Qiren asked.

"They would have had at least 3 kids by now, if Zhuocheng was capable of giving birth. " Yibo said and Haoxuan burst our laughing.

"We have different methods uncle, we can still have kids even though we both are male. " Haikaun said.

"Are you sure about this, Haikaun? " Qiren asked.

"Yes, uncle. I am. " Haikaun said in a confident tone.

"You haven't asked me anything since you were a kid, but if this is what you want, then I'll gladly accept it if it makes you happy. Arrange a meeting with his family. " Qiren said.

"Thank you soo much, uncle. Thank you soo much for accepting him. " Haikaun beamed with joy.

"But I won't. " Yibo scoffed.

"Why, Yibo? What's wrong? " Haikaun asked, worried.

"Zhuocheng can be a part of our family, only under one condition. " Yibo said.

"And what's that? " Haikaun asked.

"He should stay away from Xiao Zhan. " Yibo said.

"Why? " Haoxuan asked.

"I can't accept that Xiao Zhan to be a part of my family. " Yibo said.

"Why's that, Yibo? Xiao Zhan is such a nice boy. " Haikaun said.

"Nice boy? He's shameless and I hate him. " Yibo said.

"You hate him? " Haoxuan asked.

"Yes, I hate him soo much. " Yibo said.

"Are you sure, brother? Because I don't think so. The way you stare at him, the way you exchange glances, I think it's something more than hate. It's like something very intimate. " Haoxuan said with a hint of tease in his tone.

"Intimate? I think you're blind, Haoxuan. " With that said, Yibo walked to his room and closed the door behind him.

'What do you guys even know? I get a rare disease whenever he's near me. My heart skips a beat everytime I see him. So, I can't let him be close to me, I don't want to die at such an young age. Xiao Zhan... You better stay away. ' Yibo thought laying on the bed.
