Hospital room where Nathaniel's father is admitted ⬆️

I opened the letter and started to read it.

 Dear Nathu,

My boy if you are reading this letter then you know about my illness now. I am sorry for hiding this but I did this for your betterment. I know you must be questioning yourself. Don't do that don't be so hard on yourself. Nathaniel, you are an amazing kid. After your mom died all I had was you. Whenever I saw your angelic face it gave me the strength to overcome that pain. You know that we don't share a good relation with my family. You are my only family. You have to look after yourself now. You have to take over this business. It's going to be difficult at the beginning but I trust you. I know that everything I have taught you will not go in vain. Andrew will be there with you. I am not good with words but my love you are the best thing that happened to me. I am lucky to have a son like you. I Love You.

                                                                                                                                                            Yours lovingly, Dad.

I sat on the couch and was thinking everything he told me. I know that one day he will not be there with me but not this early. I can't lose him. Andrew was observing me very intently. He was waiting for my answer. No use of wasting my time.

"I am ready, Andrew," I said with no emotions. A smile appeared on Andrew's face.

"Okay, you just have to sign this paper," he said removing the papers from his bag.

He passed me the pen and I signed it.

"Dr. can I have a word with you."

"Sure, tell me what it is."

" I want to shift dad at my house. You can take as many spaces you want. You can turn it into a mini-hospital but I don't want him to stay here. I want him to spend all his time with me. Contact one of the best Doctors, nurses," my voice had an authority.

"But-"

"No ifs and buts," I said with a stern voice. " I have made my decision," I added.

"Okay," he said sighing. "I'll go get the discharged paper ready," he added while going out.

"Nathaniel, I am glad you understood the situation and made your decision to look after the company. Don't worry you can go to college I have talked to your headmaster and you'll graduate early. All of the things are under control," Andrew said.

"Except for my father's health," I sighed.

" Don't lose hope. We are going to try our best."

"I'll go get some air," I said in a low voice walking out the office. I saw Sofi sitting on the couch of the waiting room. She saw me and gestured for me to come to her. I walked slowly.

"Babe, you alright?" she queried.

"You too, Sofi. Don't mess with me now. I hate being asked this question. How do you all think I am going to be alright after knowing my dad is gonna die in six fucking months," I yelled.

"I am sorry. I know this is hard for you, but I am right here babe."

"I know you are here, but I want to be alone for some time."

"Okay, I am not gonna force you, you can go out have a nice walk get some fresh air. I'll be here waiting for you."

"Okay," I whispered. As I was going out I suddenly turned around.

"Why did you call her? I questioned.

"Who?" she asked faking the confusion.

"You know what I'm asking about, no need to be dumb."

"Nathaniel, I thought you would like it if I called her. I saw how your eyes lighted up when you saw her," she whispered.

"Then you must have seen the pain in my eyes when I got to know that she lied to me when I saw Henry kissing her in front of me. Were you blind at that time?" I said upset with her actions.

"I am sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. I just wanted to help you," she said sweetly.

"Did I ask for your help Sofia? No, right," I questioned and answered myself.

"Babe-"

"Just cut the crap, bro.".  With that stated I walked out of the waiting room and headed downstairs.

As I was walking millions of thoughts were running inside my head. A part of me liked it when I saw Megan standing in the parking lot worrying about me, but when I saw Henry the tables turned. I don't know why is it affecting me so much to see her with another man. But all I know is that I need to just focus on my dad and the company. I have to stop thinking about her.

Flashes of the camera and many journalists started to come near me. They started firing questions at me. Who the hell told the media about this?

"Sir is it true that Mr. Abraham is fighting with life and death?" one of the journalists questioned.

"Are you going to take over the company?" one with a dirty blonde hair guy asked.

Paul came outside with some security guards and took me out of that mess.

"Who the hell told them anything about this?" I shouted.

"I don't know sir," Paul responded.

"Then find out, and take them as far as possible. I am already tired." I said annoyed.

"Sure."

I am tired of all of this. First Megan engagement then dad's illness and now these psychopaths journalists. I am done for today. I walked into the private room and sat on the couch. I closed my eyes and calmed myself. I started to inhale and exhale. I called Sergio and asked if the discharged paper is ready. I want to get out of here as soon as possible. Tomorrow is going to be a big day. I have to officially announce all this. Get ready Nathaniel.
