Fred and George were in their room, arguing about Bonnie. Over why she was here, but mostly, why George was staring at her.

“You were staring at her all Dinner, George!” Fred yelled, full of anger.

“Keep it down, Fred!” George whispered yelled, while looking around for any sign of a person or eavesdropper. “Don’t you wonder, Fred? What she’s.. doing here?! She’s not one of us! It just doesn’t make sense, does it?!”

Fred shook his head, knowing George had a valid point. He KNEW it was strange, but, being the stubborn twin, he’d DIE before he admitted it.

George sighed in frustration.

“It’s something serious, I bet.” Fred said, anger vanishing into exhausting confusion.

There was an awkward silence between the two of them.

“I’m going to wash my face, just think about it, Georgie.” Fred said calmly, but with a hint of anger.

Fred left the room, carefully shutting the door, trying not to wake anyone.

‘Too late for that now, Fred.’ He thought to himself.

He walked down the long, gloomy hallway until he came across a light coming from the bathroom.

Fred cautiously approached the door, he thought everyone was asleep.

Quiet sobs escaped the bathroom.

Fred’s facial expression softened from cautiousness to worry straight away.

He approached the doorway and saw a shadowy figure hunched over the basin, shaking slightly.

“H-Hello?” Fred’s voice cracked as he stuttered nervously.

The figure straightened, startled.

“I didn’t mean to.. uh.. I just came in to wash my face..” He said, starting to back away.

“No! don’t go.” Fred knew straight away who it was. It was Bonnie.

She quickly wet her face and walked towards him.

Fred had never seen her like this. Her eyes were grey, and under her eyes were puffy and red, crying Fred had guessed. Her cheeks were blotchy, while the rest of her face was a pale white.

She took Fred by the wrists and sat him down on the edge of the bathtub.

“What’s wrong, Bonnie?” Fred’s eyebrows furrowed in worry.

“There’s something I’ve been keeping from you lot… a secret.”
