Lily lays in bed and looks at the wall. The door opens. She looks and sees her dad. She sits up. "Hey..." Draco goes and sits on the bed. "Leo seems like a nice boy..." Lily smiles and nods. "Yeah..." Lily looks away. 

"When we first got on the train, he was saying how we're the Malfoy kids and we don't talk to Potters..." Lily looks at her father. "He didn't like us at first..." Draco nods. "Have fun at the dance Friday..." Lily smiles. "Oh... I know what color dress I want now..." "What color?" "Red..." 

Draco nods and kisses her forehead. "Get some sleep..." Lily nods and lays down again. Draco leaves and shuts the door.

Lily wakes up and gets dressed in a lilac jumper and black jeans. She puts on a pair of white shoes. She looks in the mirror at her shoulder-length hair. She sighs. She goes downstairs and sees everyone already there. She sits down and everyone is quiet. 

Lily looks out the window and sees a black dog. She smiles and runs out of the Manor. She shuts the door easily. The dog sits there. "Hey..." She kneels down and pets him. The dog wags his tail. She stands up and they walk down through the woods. Lily smiles. "Doing good?" The dog nods.

They hear a branch break and the dog growls. Lily freezes. They see a mist and the dog growls. Lily runs home but falls. The mist looms over her. "Sirius!" The dog starts barking and growling. The mist goes after Sirius. "No! Sirius!" LIly takes out her wand. She points it at the mist. 

"Expecto Patronum..." A shield forms around her and Sirius. Sirius changes into a human. "You're doing great... keep going..." Lily sees the mist go away and stops. She stops and looks at Sirius. He's cut and bleeding. She covers her mouth. "Sirius..." He looks at her. 

She runs the Manor. "Dad! Papa!" They rush over. She feels tears streaming. "What's wrong..." "Sirius..." Lily runs out of the Manor with them following. She runs to Sirius. "Sirius..." He opens his eyes and sees Lily. He smiles. Harry and Draco get there. "Sirius!" Harry looks at the cuts. 

Draco puts his hand over one of the cuts and it slowly heals. Lily watches. Draco heals the cuts. Harry hugs him. "Thanks, Draco..." Sirius sits up. "Thanks..." Lily looks at him. "I'm gonna go for a walk..." Lily walks away and once she's in the clear, she runs further. 

She runs until her legs are tired. She sits down and looks around. She doesn't know where she is. Around her gets cold and she scurries up. She sees another black mist. She walks away and trips. The mist goes over her. 

She curls up and without her knowing, a magic shield forms around her. She covers her ears.

Draco feels a very strong breeze and looks up from what he was doing. Sirius looks and Harry does as well. Sirius turns into his black dog and runs. Draco and Harry follow. They get there and see a very big shield around Lily. Sirius looks at it. Lily opens her eyes the drops the shield. 

She looks and sees Sirius. He goes over and sits between her legs with his dog head on her shoulder. Lily wraps her arms around his shoulders and cries. Sirius looks at Draco. Lily falls asleep. Draco picks her up and carries her home in his arms. Sirius follows them. 

Draco lays Lily down in her bed. "Sirius?" He looks at Draco. "Stay in here with Lily..." Sirius barks. Draco looks at Harry. "Animagus as a godfather?" "Dad's pick..." Draco smiles and they head to bed. Sirius lays down at the end of the bed on the floor. He falls asleep.
