"Hey, Luna! Come here!" called Reece. I went to his place. We were in my room, but I was trying to sing a song with guitar. Reece was looking at his phone.

"What?" "aren't this hat is cute?" he said, pointing at one of the hats from his phone. "Eww, panda?! Are you sure you want to use that?" I asked with cringy face.

"well, I like it. And it is expensive." He said. I rolled my eyes, and tried to focus in my guitar practice. I was going to attend a mini lunch concert in my school.

In the school that me and Reece went to, they were really supporting their students to perform and be in front of many people. This was to make their students feel confident.

"Reece, can you help me?" I asked. I was really frustrated because I couldn't get the perfect notes for one of the parts. "yeah sure." Well, just saying that Reece is better than me about guitar. So, I always asked him for help.

He extended his arms around me to give me an example how I should play it, so we looked like Reece was hugging me. I don't know why these days, I could feel my heart beat a little bit faster when Reece was around me. It is impossible for me if I like him, as we've been best friends since we're on our 7th grade.

When we were resting from the practice, I just remembered something. "Oh, by the way, I feel like Aaron likes to steal a glance to me these days. is it possible if he likes me?" I asked him. We don't really mind if we're talking about love or relationship, as we're both quite franky.

"Well, maybe. What I know is that he is always dying to have the same project group of yours." We giggled a bit. "what about you? Do you have any crush right now? You haven't told me anything since Ellie rejected you." I said, smirking. He blushed a bit. "well, I think I like someone right now, but I'm not really sure." He said, looking at the wall behind me. "tell me, who is it." I said while I shook his arm.

"How about, no?" he said. I stuck out my tongue. "you have to tell me, since we're best friend." I said. He just giggled and stuck out his tongue. "No." I hit his arm, and then suddenly my mom came to my room.

"Hey Reece, it's almost dinner and your mom just called me to tell you to go home." Said my mom, smiling. "Okay, thank you Ms. Duncan. Bye, Luna!" he waved to me, and then walked off my room. My mom left me alone in the room. Then, I tried to practice the notes by myself.

[at the school next day]

Reece and I were talking about the school music festival in one month with Akiko and Patricia at lunch. We were kinda like a gang (in a good way). If I could say, Reece likes to play with girls. I'm not saying that Reece is like a lady boy or something, it's just like most of his friends were girls. Even his bestfriend, me, is also a girl. He said to me that the boys' playing are too rude. It's because once, he was being bullied at his primary school by a gang of boys.

When we were discussing what can we do in the music festival, Aaron came to our place. "excuse me, can I talk to you for a moment?" he asked me. we all looked at each other. "umm, yeah sure!" I said, smiling. "great! Follow me." he grabbed my hand and walked pretty fast. "Aaron, where are we going?" I asked him. But he didn't answer me.

Then, I found ourselves at the stairs, or exactly, behind the stairs. "So, umm, I actually like you. I mean, I love you. Since the first time we met, which is about six months ago. I know I'm quite new to this place and I don't know you as long as Reece does, but I really, really love you. You know, those love-at-first-sight thing."

He said. Then, he took a deep breath.

Well, I'm speechless. Honestly, I've never heard a guy say to me that he loves me. and it's all because I'm best friend with Reece and everyone thought that I'm his girlfriend. But I don't really mind because with that, my life will become full of peace, without a guy forcing me to always follow him, et cetera. And to be honest, as I've never really had a boyfriend, I'm still keeping my first kiss.

Then, his hand moved to my face, holding my cheek. I felt like my cheeks were burning, it was really hot. Then, he said, "may I?" slowly, I could feel that his lips were touching mine. It tasted really sweet, and it was really soft. I was really surprised, but then I started to close my eyes and enjoyed my first kiss. It was quite long. Five seconds, maybe? Maybe a little bit longer. Then, he pulled himself from me. we looked at each other's eyes quite deep. Then, he said, "Well, that is all I need to say. And, if you... feel the same way as I, you can tell me." he smiled. I was still mesmerized. I don't know with what. I couldn't even form a single smile in my face. After that, he left.

[Reece POV]

I saw it. I just saw it. Everything. What Aaron said. Their sweet, long kiss. I knew that it was Luna's first kiss. I knew that. And I didn't even have any strength to just separate them two. At least just shout at them. I didn't have any strength.

I was really angry, sad, hurt, everything. I didn't hear what Aaron said at the last, but I saw Luna's face. She looked like mesmerized with what just happened. I hid right behind the wall, so that they wouldn't notice me or anything.

I knew it that Aaron was about to confess to her. But I knew that he'll do something else. That's why I left the table and came to them. Not really coming, but like, overheard them purposely.

After Aaron left, I came to Luna and tried to wake her up by shaking his arms. "Luna! Luna!" then, she woke up. "Reece..." she said, still gobsmacked.

"what did he do to you to make you... be like this?!" I held my tears. I didn't want her to know that I listened to everything. She blushed. I don't like this. "umm... Aaron, he kissed me." then, she smiled. I stood in front of her freezing just by seeing her reaction.

I literally love her when we were started to be best friends. My feeling grew slowly, step by step, just like our friendship. That's why I've never really liked a girl before. It's just her. But, I've never thought of confessing to her. I don't want to ruin our friendship. I know that Luna doesn't like me. but, to be honest, I want to be her first kiss. Well, actually, I'm still keeping my first kiss, until now. When I knew that Luna never had her first kiss before, I kept mine and just waiting for the perfect moment. Which will never come now.

A sparks of jealousy pop up inside me. when I touched her cheek, it felt so hot. She blushed. I became really sad and jealous, and then I pulled her to the lunch place. Well, actually it was no use. Lunch would be over in five minutes.
