“Luna, you’re bleeding!” Reece looked really panic. I pointed at my bedroom’s door, meaning “get out”. He sighed, and then he walked out to the door.

I sat on the floor, crying while thinking. What actually happened to me?

[Luna POV]

I woke up at my room with my uniform. On the desk besides my bed, there was a clock. I checked the clock and gasped. “Mom, why didn’t you wake me up?! I am totally late!” I shouted from my room, while combing my hair and grabbing my bag for school. “I’m sorry honey, but you looked so tired, so I didn’t wake you up!” she shouted from the kitchen. I grunted. That’s not even an excuse!

“I’m going! Bye!” I grabbed my shoes and ran to the elevator. Luckily, my school was just 15 minutes from my apartment, with a relaxed walking. I ran as fast as I could, and I arrived right 5 minutes before the class started. Then, I just remembered. I hadn’t clean my face, my teeth, and I didn’t change my underwear! Well nobody cares, I thought. I could only hope that today’s school ends faster than usual.

[lunch]

Well, Reece tried to eat with us again. I didn’t mind, but I still confused about everything. Why was he mad? Why did he mad after Aaron confessed to me? why was I mad? And, after all those questions, I didn’t find my answers.

While we were eating, I tried not to speak to Reece. well basically, there was a total silence in our table. Patricia and Akiko looked at each other, and sighed. I knew what that sighs meant. When we were finished eating, we returned our tray and walked to different directions. Patricia went to the park, Akiko went to the school field, and I went to the school ‘lounge’. Well basically it’s just a place where students could use their laptops, reading books, and chat with their friends. Hence, that place was always noisy.

From the corner of my eye, I could see Reece was following me. I didn’t say anything about that. I sat on one of the chairs in there. there was a chair opposite of mine and Reece sat in that chair. I pretended not to see him and instead, just read my favorite novel.

“Are you still mad at me?” he asked me. “you think?” I said but I didn’t look at him. “Look, I’ll explain to you why I was mad, but I won’t do that unless you want to look at my eyes and listen to me.” I sighed. “You know what? You just made your best friends cried because of an unclear reason, and now you suddenly appear and speak to me, saying that you want to ‘explain everything’. Do you think you’re someone that could do whatever he wants whenever he likes, without considering anything, hmm? I’m so sorry, but I don’t think that you deserve to be listen to.” Well, that’s a bit rude. I didn’t expect that to go out from my mouth. But I couldn’t do anything, I couldn’t even control my mouth.

I saw Reece’s expression, he looked really surprised from what I just told him. I felt kind of guilty, so I packed up my novel and went away. From the corner of my eye, I could see Reece still sitting there, with people around him stealing glance at me, and then at Reece. Maybe it’s because my voice was loud, so they must’ve had listened to what I said.

i hurriedly went to my locker, grabbed my stuffs, and went to my next subject.

[after school]

I wanted to go home quickly. besides of my dirty underwear, I didn't want to see Tiffany and her gang. I went to my locker, putting some stuffs, and then walked to the school gate. when I wanted to get my ipod, i felt someone's hand grabbing my wrist.

"Hello again, Ms. Duncan." said Tiffany, smirking. I trembled a little. "I thought we're done." "Do you even remember what I told you?" before I could answer her, she pulled me harshly to the same corner where she pinched me yesterday till I bled. behind her there was Jessica and Sophie.

"I told you, don't. you. ever. ever. get. close. to. Reece. again." she whispered in my ears. then, she pulled my ears up. it was really hurt. "I didn't get close to him again. You want him? go ahead, run to him." I said. she looked at me unpleasantly. "I saw you. at the lounge. you were talking to hi-" "i tried to make him go away from me." I kinda felt annoyed with her, but I also scared with her. not to mention that her father was the middle school principal in here.

she smirked and nodded to Jessica and Sophie, and then both of them lifted me up to the wall, and after that Tiffany slapped me really hard. what I knew is that my cheeck will be turned to blue color. "liar." she whispered to me. after that, Jessica and Sophie let her hands off me, made me to fall to the ground with a bam on my butt. "Ouch!' I cried out. but, when I turned my head, there was no one. Tiffany and her gang had gone somewhere.

I hold my cheeck and hobbled to my apartment. when I arrived at there, I hurriedly ran to my room and laid myself on my bed. another wound because of Reece, i thought. unconciously, tears flowed down my cheeks. maybe this is what everyone calls as growing up. facing many obstacles and problems, and I had to solve the problems by myself. God, I hate growing up.

i remembered that I haven't brush my teeth and change my underwear, so I hurriedly changed my clothes and went to the bathroom. after I cleaned, I went to the living room and found Michael watching the television alone, with a bag of chips beside him. "Hey Luna." he said, without looking to me. I then sat beside him and ate the chips too. I folded my legs and looked straight to the tv. geez, was he watching x factor? that's not even interesting.

Michael looked at me questioning. "What?" I said. "What happened to your cheeks?" that kind of hit me. "ummm, I accidentally fell down at the school right on my face." he chuckled a little, more like making fun of me. what a stupid excuse I gave to him, but at least I managed to not telling him what actually happened.

while we were watching, Michael looked like he tried to remember something. "what did you forget about?" I asked. "Reece came here and he told me to tell you something, but I totally forgot...." I grunted, and then pushed his head playfully. Just after that, I saw someone familiar on our TV screen....

"Reece?!"

I'm sorry guys if this chapter is kinda short, as I made it in a little bit hurry. and I'm so sorry for the long time update.
