Sweetie, Sweetie, what did that mean? He wasn't talking to me. Of course not. We just met. Who is he? AHH WHAT'S GOING ON!?

I jumped and woke myself up. I sat up in bed trying calm down. I have very strong anxiety btw. In 2.. 3.. 4.. Out 2.. 3.. 4.. I took four deep breaths and lay back down. Trying to clear my mind. But its a lot harder than you think, especially when you over think stupid little things. I gently recapped the things that happened today...

I met Chris at Starbucks. We got the same drink. We sat down and drank our drinks. He asked for my number. We spoke. He thought I was from Australia. I told him no. Then he said sweetie.

Oh god. I am not prepared for this. Does he like me? What's going on?

No. I'm over thinking. Stop. Calm down.

I reached for my phone and saw I had an unread text message from Chris.

I read it.

"Hey, you ran off really quick today. Did I say something to hurt you? Was it because I thought you had an Australian accent? I'm sorry Ava! Please reply and let me know your okay
Chris x "

Should I reply? I mean its 1 o'clock in the morning... No. I'll reply.

"Hey Chris. Sorry I ran off. Idk why I did. You didn't hurt me. A lot of people get my accent wrong. I just over think everything too much.
Ava x"

After I sent that.. I drifted off back to sleep.

Later that morning. I woke up at 10:36am.

"SHIT! I'm going to be late for work!" I shouted

Of course I was the only one home since my parents start work early.

I ran to the bathroom. Washed my face. Tied up my hair in a messy bun. Ran back to my room and put on my work top, black skinny jean and black vans. Ran down to the kitchen and grabbed an apple to eat on the way. Luckily the store was only 5 minutes down the street. I got there at 10:57am. Just in time.

Later on during my shift. I saw Chris walking past the window and head into the store.

"Oh god. Umm. What do I say? Act normal,"

"Sorry what was that?" Said the lady I was serving.

"Oh no. Sorry I was just talking to myself," I replied.

Chris was walking to my checkout with his 'usual'. The lady grabbed he bags and walked away.

Chris was next in line.
