Hopes POV (Unedited) I was laying in bed thinking about the moment me and Josie had when I looked at the clock and seen it was late. When I tried to sleep I just couldn't so I walked over to Josie's room to see if she was awake. When I went to her door I heard Josie saying something to herself meaning she was awake. So I walked in and Josie was sitting on her bed. The minute Josie noticed me she said in a whisper voice"Hi." I said "Hey can you meet me at the old mill in 10 minutes." She said "Sure!" I walked down to the old mill to waiting for JoJo when I saw something in the distance, it looked like a..... DRAGON!
I waited for Josie to get to the old mill to confirm my theory. When Josie arrived I grabbed her hand and said " Tell me that doesn't look like a dragon!" She said "Oh my god it does what do we do." I said "Remember yesterday when Landon touched the knife before leaving and it glowed?" She replied with "Who can forget." I told her to "Go get it and meet me back at the old mill." She said "Alright what are going to do?" I replied with "I'm going to use a special spell." Winking at her before running off!
Josie's POV I started running towards the library to grab the knife when I saw the dragon turning into a human! I ran faster then ever, used magic to stop the alarm and grabbed it and ran back to the old mill. When the dragon started running towards me I stabbed it in the stomach.
I though it was dead and I saw hope running with a dark magic spell. She came over and said "Well I guess I didn't need this I didn't think it was this easy." I replied with"Yeah too easy!" And then we both saw the girl turn into a dragon! Hopes screamed "Josie take cover!" I yelled back "No I'm not letting you get hurt or worse... DIE!"
Then she yelled back with yellow eyes "NOW!" When I didn't move she grabbed the knife out of my hands and pushed me behind something yelling "STAY!" Her eyes still yellow! When I went to move tears formed in her eyes and in a crying voice she said "Plz." Finally I stayed put and watched the dragon come towards her and I was about to scream until I saw it fall and turn human again.
I saw hope standing with a bloody nose and I walked over and catched her before she fell. Then I set her down gently and took the knife and stabbed it in the neck. I picked her up bridal style and carried her to her room. I went to set her down but she held on.
I really tried to pull away but she wouldn't let me go so I gave in and laid down with her. Her head on my chest I drifted and off to sleep easier for some reason.
Hopes POV I woke up cuddled up to a Josie I laid down for just a few more minutes trying to remember what happens last night. Then I remember fighting the dragon! I didn't want to wake Josie so I gently got out of her grasp and walked to the wall, making sure no one was around, luckily it was a Saturday and everyone was sleeping in so I walked threw and started painting a picture

After I finished painting I walked back to my room to see Josie gone but the knife still there. So I took the knife and opened the case but right before I put the knife in I heard Alaric say "Hey i know you don't like football games but I didn't think you would stoop to stealing!"
I didn't want to tell Dr. Saltzman that me and his daughter almost got killed by a flying fire breathing fricken human, so i said "Your lucky I didn't steal a life like my father did when he was mad!"
Just not to raise suspicion I was lying I gave him a disgusted look and walked off. Later I was sitting in my room when Dr. Saltzman sent me a magic letter saying to meet me in his office. So walked to his office after I saw Lizzie yelling "So your gonna leave and put Emma in charge of like all of us on the day of our game!" And Josie said "Dad your the coach you can't." He said "Sorry girls I just can't it's official business."
Then Lizzie came barging out stopping looking at me and yelling "This is your fault devil daughter!" Then I yelled back with out thinking and with my yellow 'scary' eyes "Yeah well at least I didn't make another girls father have to kill themselves because they agreed to do a spell for a skirt and maybe phones!!" Lizzie's looked scared and like shocked and so did Josie and Alaric. I pushed Lizzie up against the wall and said "I really don't need your shxt today of all days!" Then walked in to Dr. Saltzmans room liked nothing happened and said "You summoned me?"
I saw Lizzie still looking at me so I said "Go before you need more meds for your 'injuries'!" Then I saw Dr. Saltzman looking like he just saw a Dinosaur. I finally felt Lizzie and Josie leave but what nobody knew was that today was the day my mom died! Dr. Saltzman saw that I was about to cry or scream I wasn't really sure so he came over pulled me into a hug and said talk later and I walked to my room.
Josie's POV After I knew Hope left I went to my dads office and begged and I mean BEGGED for him to quit the game because of 'sick' students and he finally gave in! I asked him what was up with Hope and he said that he didn't know and that he had to get going so I hugged him and said see you tomorrow! Then I walked to her room when she wasn't there. So I went to her secret room, when she wasn't there I just decided to flip through her custom song book to see if she wrote anything that caught my eye. I saw one that did it was called You Broke Me First!

Hope came in while I was looking at her paintings and she said "Hey I'm sorry about earlier about being a bxtch to Lizzie guess I'm just extra jumpy today!" I said hugging her "Im sorry." I said this because I all of a sudden remembered today was the day her mom had died.
She hugged me back and said "Thanks JoJo I needed this!" I said no problem. I looked her in the eyes and kissed her for the THIRD time and this one a lot longer then the first two. Definitely longer then the first one! After kissing her "I said I hope your day gets better no pun intended." This made her laugh witch made me smile We sat down on the bench her head on my shoulder and she loaded all her problems on to me.
Afterword she said "Sorry.." I said "Hey you have nothing to be sorry for, it's not your fault." I felt a tear go down my shoulder as I brought her closer to me. I looked at my watch and realized it was already ten o'clock. I still held hope there till she fell asleep and carried her to her room. Then laid her down and headed to my room where Lizzie talked about how annoying and selfish Hope was.
Then I said "Lizzie she not annoying or selfish she's just hurting and she just puts her feelings into anger and puts them where it doesn't belong." She said "Well not like anyone died today." Rolling her eyes then I said laying down half asleep "Well her mom died exactly two years ago." Then I drifted asleep and Lizzie said "I wonder if she feels like we do when mom misses our birthdays." And when she says this I said "Yeah imagine that pain but ten times worse!" She said "I can't even think about how much that would hurt."
Lizzie POV When Josie told me about Hope the only thing going through my mind was I hope she doesn't always hurt, I only wonder if her being mad is her escape like how my 'episodes' are mine. Though my neck still hurt and my feelings still did from earlier I hoped she felt ok.
