Hopes POV

I woke up cuddled up to Josie again. I didn't want to wake Josie so I continued to lay down with her till she woke up. When she woke up we both sat up. She said she had to get going I said alright. About 10 minutes after Josie left Dr.Saltzman came through my door and said "Assembly in 5 minutes." I was annoyed but I got dressed and went to the assembly. He was talking crap about dead girls when he said "Anyone want to volunteer!" I wasn't gonna go till I saw Josie stand and I said "I'd like to help!" I swear the whole school looked at me like I was dinosaur.

*Later on*

Me and Alaric were sparring when he asked why I wanted to go to the high school. I didn't want to tell him reason was that I needed to kill a kid and because Josie was going so I said "I want a shot at a 'human' life!"

Josie's POV
I was really excited to go to the school just to punch Dana. After I knew Hope and my dad were done sparring I went to her room and she was reading a Mody Dick. She sat up and said "Hey Josie something wrong?" There actually was I was worried how we were going to cover up the dragon. I said "Yeah." Sitting down on her bed "How are we going to cover up the dragon thing!" She said "One keep your voice down and two leave that to me." I said back to hope "Alright what is going to be your human outfit." She laughed and showed some basic outfit I laughed walked out and went to my room to do homework.

I started zoning out well doing my homework. That was until Lizzie tapped me on the shoulder. She said "Hey Jo you ok you seem... distracted oh and dad wants you to tell Hope to come to his office because Emma can't send a letter." I replied with "Alright wait why me." She said "He said that you guys seem... closer lately. I said "Yeah Yeah Alright I will get dressed for the 'field trip'." Laughing walking out

Hopes POV
I was staring at a pictures of me and my mom. I wasn't crying till I saw a picture of me and Henry, we had been best friends since before I could remember that was until... well. I started crying like CRYING. That was until I heard a knock on my door. I quickly wiped my tears and went to the door. I saw JoJo and she said "Hey your eyes are puffy is something wrong?!" I said "I have no idea what your talking about" She looked at me with a frown on her face "You don't have to put on a brave face with me what's wrong." I said "It's dumb stuff." She said "Alright well after our 'field trip' we will talk but my dad wants you in his office." "Alright see you later."'I said walking out.

JoJos POV
Something was definitely wrong with Hope. But I wasn't to into it so I went back to my room and changed and went to the bus.

When I got there Hope was sitting alone in the back of the bus listening to music. It looked like recording box so I wanted to see if it was from a concert or hers. So I did a spell to listen

I realized that it was her song and when I looked back she was sleeping. Lizzie said "If you want to go back there you can." "Thanks Lizzie." I said walking back there.

Once I sat down the bus started moving causing Hope to wake up. "Oh JoJo you dont have to sit here, go sit with your sister." "Heh I think she is a little busy flirting with the new guy." Me and Hope scooted closer to the wall we were now out of site. She laid her head down on my lap and I started playing with her hair her still listening to music fell asleep.

About 20 minutes later. We arived and i woke her up. I asked her "Did you get much sleep last night." "Yeah im just tired i geuss." Hope got up and started walking out the bus and thats when i relized that
landon was back. i didnt want to make a big deal about it so I went and caught up with hope.
