Lying For You

Chapter 2

The boys walked for around 15 minutes to get to Shoto's house. Once they got there, Endeavor was anything but happy but tried to remain calm because of the two other boys that were present. Shoto was purposely trying to piss him off and clearly succeeding.

Once Endeavor was done being an idiot, the boys went to Shoto's room to hang out. They played Call of Duty until Izuku asked if they wanted to play truth or dare.

"So, who wants to ask first?" Izuku said.

"Uh, not me. You can ask, Kaminari."

Denki smirked and asked, "Ok, cool. Midoriya, truth or dare?" He knew that Izuku would pick truth, and had the perfect question.

Izuku faintly blushed at Denki smirking and replied, "Truth?"

His smirk turned into a hearty smile, "Who do you like?"

The messy-haired boy's face turned even more red than Kirishima's hair. "Um, uh, n-no one...?"

Todoroki started to giggle, which in turn caused Kaminari to break out into full-on laughter.

"Wait, but like seriously, who do you like?" Todoroki asked once they stopped laughing.

"Um, I'm pretty sure I just told you. No o-one."

"Sure you don't. We totally believe you." Kaminari stated bluntly.

Izuku mumbled very quietly under his breath, "Kaminari. That's who I like."

Shoto's eyes widened, "Wait, what was that? It kinda sounded like it started with a 'k' sound. But who's name starts with- holy shit, wait, Izu-" He was stopped by Izuku's hand being slapped over his mouth. The smaller boy sent a dangerous glare in his direction, his villainous side leaking out for a second before he quickly covered it up.

Denki sat there, confused, before shrugging it off. "Anyway, it's your turn Midoriya."

Izuku took his hand from the other boy's mouth and thought for a second before he thought of both a truth and a dare, "Sho, truth or dare?" He smirked.

Todoroki, not knowing what his smirk was for, picked dare. He instantly regretted it once the smaller boy answered with, "I dare you to order us three pizzas. And you don't get a say in what type."

"I seriously don't even get to pick what type? I can't even influence you guys?" His voice was monotone as usual.

"Um, yeah no, so what type do you want Kaminari? Actually, can I just call you Kami? Kaminari is pretty long to say."

"Huh? Oh, yeah sure, you can call me Kami. I don't really care. And can I call you Mido? Also, can I get pepperoni?"

Izuku turned a very light shade of pink form his nickname that he had just received from his crush. "Yeah sure, it's a nice nickname. Sho, you're buying a pepperoni pizza, a veggie pizza, and- actually, you can choose the last kind."

"Oh, joy. Let's get a Hawaiian pizza."

Kaminari noticed the closeness between the two and found it strangely odd. Izuku seemed to be very close to the number one pro hero's son, and All Might. He was curious so he did the natural thing and asked the boys.

"No offence, but why are you two so close? And Mido even had lunch with All Might earlier too."

Their eyes widened and Izuku looked at Shoto with a look that said 'please for the love of All Might, don't give anything away' and the dual haired boy slightly nodded.

"We've been friends for a while actually. We met through my bro-" Izuku elbowed him in the ribs before he spilled the truth, "through a mutual friend."

The blond nodded, even though he was now even more suspicious of the two.

Kaminari finally decided to leave when it was 10 pm. He was still suspicious of the other two boys, and the fact that Izuku showed no signs of leaving any time soon.

He walked home with headphones in, listening to music and softly humming along.

When he was just outside of his house, he saw something out of his peripheral vision.

'What the heck did I just see? It looked like, I don't even know, a mess of green? Maybe it was hair? No, but that couldn't have been a human! That went way too fast for it to be a person. Or maybe it was their quirk? I don't know. It was probably just a kid with a speed quirk that snuck out trying to get back before their parents find out or something. Whatever.' He thought.

He brushed it aside, took out his house keys and unlocked the door. The lights were off so his parents were asleep. He made his way up to his room and face planted onto his bed. It took five minutes for him to fall asleep, he was tired after his first day.

After Kaminari left, Izuku stayed another ten minutes before heading back to the bar. He was using One for All to make it back before his mom and everyone else scolded him, he hadn't told them he would stay that late after all.

Izuku was really trying his hardest to make it back quickly without breaking something, so he didn't go as fast as he could have. But that was what caused Kaminari to see a blur of him, and Izuku stopped once he was out of the blond's sight.

He started thinking that his crush would notice that it was him and leak his secret that the only non-villain knew, was Shoto. And he really didn't need to add to that list right now, especially with someone who he'd only just met.

He hid in the shadows watching Kaminari until he went into his house, and even then he continued watching him.

Once Izuku realized that he wasn't a threat to his secret, considering he fell asleep within five minutes, he went back to the bar. He was expecting to get scolded. And he did.

"Midoriya Izuku. What's your excuse for this?"

'Shit. I've been found out.'

"Um- well- uh- you see- I was at Shoto's and um, there was another boy there-"

"Another boy?! Who? Was he cute? Do you like him? Does he like you? Is he your boyfrien-" Toga was interrupted by Shigaraki covering her mouth.

Even though Toga didn't get to finish her sentence, Izuku still went bright red.

"N-no! Well, yes, he was cute, but that's not the point!"

"Oh, so you think he's cute, huh?" Dabi chimed in, "Who is it? If he breaks your heart I'm going to need to know so that I can beat him up."

"His name is Kaminari Denki. And wait, you're not beating anyone up Dabi!"

"Ah, so he's the blond one?" Izuku hesitantly nodded, "Okay, thanks, I'll make a note to interrogate him later."

I am so sorry for not updating in like, I don't know, almost two months maybe? I just haven't had any motivation to write lately. But then again maybe because that's because I've only left my house around 6 times since March 13th.
