Queen Sally's Family

After we looked at the stars, which was all we did, we didn't talk or look at each other. We just layed there till I fell asleep and Percy had to wake me up seeing as I couldn't sleep in his room and he couldn't carry me because of the guards. Well, he could, he just didn't want to risk it, which I get. After that I went back to my bedroom and changed into the nightgown the girls picked out for me. It was a little too showy ( is that even a word? comment and tell me plz) but I was too tired to pick out a different one after I changed. I fell asleep fast with no nightmares whatsoever.

So this is how I woke up this morning. I'm not sure how HE got in but he did and I was still sleeping in that SHOWY nightgown thing which was surprisingly comfortable but anyways, I was still sleeping when I heard my door slam open and heard someone yelp, loudly. It was hot in my room so I wasn't using a blanket which before you ask NO it was not my maids, it was Percy, he just stood there. It was funny till I realized the nightgown was semi see-through. I didn't mind too much but I guess he did because he was out the door as soon as he realized. I was surprised that Luke didn't question him because he was the one who was guarding my door but now that I think about it Percys the prince so it wouldn't have done much at all. But anyway that's how I woke up.

*******Timeskip*********

"WHY DO I HAVE TO WEAR THAT ONE" I shouted in annoyance

" Because the Queens family is coming today," my maid said calmly

"I know but I know them, their like family they don't care," I said once I calmed down a bit

" I know but...... it's being recorded and it wouldn't look proper I'm sorry" she said with a faint smile at my annoyance

"Can I at least wear a shorter one?" I asked in a sad tone

"No I'm sorry but you also have to wear a tiara, that one's the Queens doing not mine," she said

"ok whatever," I said even more annoyed

After I changed they did my hair and my make-up, just nude eyeshadow some eyeliner and other little things like that I was walking to the great hall when I ran into Percy.

"I-I'm sorry I sh-should have knocked," He said stuttering

"It's fine," I said smiling reassuringly

"Oh ok............" that's all he said

After that we arrived at the grand hall he held his arm out for me to take so it looked like we were together the whole time even though we were he's supposed to escort one of the selected in for every meal and I was the only one there I took his arm and we walked in once we got there everyone stood up and we walked over to the royal tables since I sat with them we both took our seats by each other ( I know Sally's parents died in a plane crash but not in this story)

"Who is this young lady you have with you Percy," Percy's grandfather asked Percy looked at me and I decided that he wanted me to introduce myself he knows me so well

"I'm Lady Annabeth but please just Annabeth," I said while curtsying

"Oh well it's nice to meet you Annabeth and no need for formalities," Percy's grandmother said nicely.

"So Percy, how do you know this nice girl?" His grandmother asked kindly

"Well, we've been best friends since we were like what 12?" He asked me and told his grandparents

"Yes since we were 12" I reassured him and told his grandparents

"Oh, that's so sweet. If you don't mind me asking why did you join the selection?" His grandfather asked kindly, well kind of kindly

"Sorry dad but that's classified information," Sally said sensing my uncomfortableness

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know that dear," his grandfather said sincerely

"That's ok dad," Sally said reassuring him.

"Ok dear" was all Sally's dad said

"Wise Girl, do you remember pinecone face?" Percy asked me

"Yeah how could I forget Thals, she's awesome," I said trying to annoy him which worked

"Yeah whatever she's coming she'll be here in a couple hours," He said

"REALLY?" I accidentally yelled in excitement which lead to everyone looking at me

"What is it dear?" Sally asked me

Percy said that Thalia was coming, is that true or is that Seaweed Brain messing with me?" I asked in a serious tone

"No he's not messing with you," She said trying not to laugh

"Ok, good I was worried I would have to judo flip him again," I said

"Again" Percy's grandparents both asked in unison

Time Skip to after they tell the story about yesterday

"Wow Percy you got beat up by a girl," Percy's Grandpa asked

"NO I just got flipped, by a girl," he said but whispered the last part

We all laughed it was funny

"Hey, guys you should show Percy's grandparents a dance you know," Sally said

"Um, no that's ok," I said not wanting to

"Oh come on I want to see it," Percy's grandmother said

"So do I," said someone else

Sorry, it's been so long since I updated. I've had writer's block and had no inspiration whatsoever, it's not my best piece. I want to give a shout out to ARedHairedWarrior1 for helping me edit and being a great friend.
