TEENAGE : a very confusing part of our lives,  where we are not kids nor are we adults either.  This is where we start to think about ourselves,  insecurities kick in,  anxiety , even depression.

Crushes,  and coming out , all are a part of growing up,  all are a part of teenage.

It's sad how I saw there's not even a single book about what being a teenage means plus how you are normal and not weird for anything.

This is a stage where , dressing badly almost seems like a crime.  Sleep issues, being in public feels like crap , okay this are all something we all,  all of us go through but basically we never talk about it,  why?  Ask yourself , because we obviously thought no one would understand.

You are going to be disappointed,  you are going to heartbroken  , you are going to be weak at some points , you are gonna break but my friend it's all a part of growing up.

We have no control over anything,  our hormones are all over the place so are our feelings,  it comes to a point where we definitely say , "I hate feelings" but those are the things that makes us human,  those are the things that makes us grown up.

We shut ourselves out because we think nobody understands us,  we are wrong,  nobody even talked to about what they feel because they feel the same way,  they also feel nobody would understand,  be the one to talk,  trust me you will see,  you are not alone,  we all are growing up,  individually yet collectively.

This is a weird stage guys,  people ask to act like a grown up yet treat us like kids,  which makes the whole "figuring ourselves out" job even more unfamiliar.

People often underestimate being a teenager, even though they had been one themselves,  it is hard,  it's no joke.

Have you ever heard that very annoying phase "why are you in depression,  you are just a kid? " yep I know we all hate that,  when helping the person they ask this total rubbish.

Just a kid who is growing up and learning things, sir do you think it's easy?  .

In this series,  I'm going to include,  depression,  anxiety,  insecurities,  figuring out who we are, sleep issues,  addictions,  last but not least toxic relationship and friendship.

Be not scared when you think you are weird in some aspect possibilities are you may not be or you might just be what we call different.

Learning to believe in ourselves is to be honest the best and hardest part I personally had to do.

We make mistakes,  they can be bad but the things we get to learn from them are important , those lessons will be with you for the rest of your life.

Mistakes committed by us or others either way we learn but it's important to not stay regretting them for way too long.

At this stage of life,  it's more like a survival than living and there's a difference.

This is when we think friends are priorities,  it's normal but those friends of high school may not be with you for the rest of your lives, they will change even you will,  but hey! say hi to your college friends.

Till now you never doubted wearing your favorite dress,  now suddenly you think you look fat in it.

Always know that,  your body isn't your enemy,  enemies are the people who tell you it is.

You will soon realize that it doesn't matter whether you are fat or flat.  People are gonna body shame you either way,  so why bother changing yourself?

Fitting in society's standards is something we will never understand,  wait,  do they even have standards ? It almost feels like it simply states,  whatever but what you are.

We all go through things alone,  if you are however lucky with a bunch.

Teenage is where you see your family not as a open space but a lockup , even I never knew why I thought the way I did,  but you soon realize ,no matter what happens these people at my home aren't gonna bail on me.

Well again,  there are different people with different family backgrounds,  you are lucky if you have mum,  dad bonus siblings.

But I know most of us aren't offered the best background , single mother or single father are tragic,  this is where teenagers start comparing their lives with others and think they are messed up.

You are not messed up trust me,  you don't have to blame yourself for something you have zero control over.

Focusing on yourself than your background is the best thing you will do.  Study go far,  don't let anything set you to the bottom,  screw the person who calls you a nerd for preparing your success,  it's their dumb move.

Do your own thing,  stay unbothered and happy.
