JUNGKOOK'S P.OV
My breathing came in irregular as I slowly opened my eyes up. Darkness surrounded my body as I tried to focus on one thing at a time. I couldn't make out anything. I could barely see.
Suddenly, a bright light filled the room as I shut my eyes, tightly as if the light hurt me. Uncomfort filled my body as I was in the dark room. I still kept my eyes closed.
"Jungkook," A voice spoke out to me while my eyes was still shut. I imagined who the voice belonged to, but I couldn't place who it was. Even my body shook in fear as I was there.
"Open your eyes," The voice said as I listened. My options were limited. I slowly opened my eyes, seeing that I was sitting a chair.
I immediately looked up, seeing my father standing in front of me. As I saw him, I tried to stand up and run away from him. But soon as I try that, my hand meets something metal. It was trying to cut me.
"Jungkook, calm down. You're safe," My father stated as I only shook my head, thinking he was crazy as it is. He was only trying to calm me down, but it didn't work. I didn't trust him at all.
"Let me go," I yelled at him as he laughed at me. His hands played with keys to the handcuffs which were around my hands.
I lowered my head, exhaling. "What do you want," I asked, trying to get to the point. Usually, he doesn't get to the point as soon as possible. I didn't want to stay here with him. He was capable of anything and everything.
"I want answers to my questions," He stated as my face turned into a small smile. I would think there would be more to what he wanted.
"That's all," I questioned before I should have thought about what I get myself into.
He shook his head, no. There was more he wanted. "And I want my son back," He spoke out to me.
My voice didn't even come out. I knew what he wanted. I wasn't going to get out of here unless I answered his questions. I had to be a kid just like the years before. I had to be quiet for him. That's what he wanted from me when I was only seven years old.
"Fine, ask me any question," I stated to him as he smiled, liking what I was doing. Let's the games begin.
He pulled out a chair in front of me, eyeing me. He thought for a second, and then went off with his question. "Why were you in the hospital," He questioned as my eyes went immediately to the ground.
I was in the hospital? I didn't even remember being in the hospital. What happened to me? The last thing I remember was me wearing the bracelet that Jin told me not to wear it.
"I don't remember how I ended up in the hospital," I stated as he chuckled, looking away. He thought I was lying to him.
"Jungkook, why were you in the hospital? Did something happen to you," He asked again as he didn't take my first answer I gave him.
I looked at him, seeing his tattoo on his arm. The tattoo has been there ever since I was a little kid. I never knew what it meant. I never questioned it.
"All I know is I passed out. After that, everything is blank," I bluntly told him. He looked at me with curiosity as he tilted his head to the side.
"You passed out from what," He asked me. He couldn't know about the bracelet. It is something that could kill someone. I had to lie.
"My friend that I was staying with knocked me out," I told him. It was the best thing I could have thought of on the spot. I hoped he believed it, but I had my doubts that he didn't.
He crossed his arms against his chest, questioning what I told him. He thought through what I told him as well. "And what is this item that your friend knocked you out with," He asked me.
"It was an axl," I told me as he gave me a confused look. He didn't understand what I was telling him. "You see, me and him were chopping some wood, and he accidentally hit me with the axl," I explained to him.
He laughed as he shook his head, not really believing what I said. "So, that is why you were in the coma," He questioned as I only nodded at his question.
I had no clue if he knew about the bracelets. It would have to be that way if he didn't know about it. He couldn't know about them. I knew he would use them against others including me.
He sighed as he stood up. He glanced at me. "Fine, but if you lied, there will be consequences," He threatened. I nodded at him, but I didn't say a word to him.
He had to be lying to me that he would actually do something. Something along the lines of a consequence. I exhaled. He hurt me years ago and Taehyung as well.
"When can I get out of here," I asked him as he was about to walk out the door and leave me here.
He turned around with his eyes on. Y figure. He shrugged his shoulders at me. "Depends on when I want to stop seeing my son," He answered as I gave him annoyed look.
"What do you mean," I asked him. He only turned around not facing me anymore.
"It doesn't matter what I mean," He said, firmly as he left the room. He left me in darkness.
Tears rolled down my face. I didn't want to be here. I wanted to get away from my father. He was crazy. Everything he does wasn't human like. Him killing Taehyung wasn't human like. He was crazy, I told myself.
I closed my eyes, seeing flashbacks of him and me staying together. I remembered him hitting me, trying to hurt me when I was younger. I knew I had to get out of here. I had no clue what he could do.
My only option was to get out of here before anything bad happens. I looked around the room. The room was completely dark. I couldn't see anything. I could only make out the walls.
I remembered that he put handcuffs on me, so I wouldn't be able to escape easily. I tried to push the handcuffs off of me, but they still wouldn't move any. I exhales again. I was frustrated that I couldn't even get out of the handcuffs. It's handcuffs, it should be easy. There must be a way to get the handcuffs off. There must have been.
A bright light filled the room. I slowly looked up at the light, seeing a timer in front of me. "48 hours," It said on it. My face just made a confused look on it as I looked at the timer. I had no clue what the timer could have been about.
"What's the timer about," I asked myself. I didn't feel safe seeing the timer there. It concerned me while I looked at it. Something about it didn't feel safe.
My father's voice came through the screen, "Jeon Jungkook, you have fourty-eight hours to find Y/N."
I yelled at him, cutting him off. "I would never bring her to you." I knew that something would end badly. I hated this so much.
His laugh was heard through the whole room. "If you want to play that game then," His voice was washed out from the video in front of me.
Tears filled my eyes once again. I couldn't believe if I didn't bring him Y/N, he would do that. In front of my eyes was my mom as she was chained up.
"If you don't bring me Y/N in the next fourty-eight hours, then she will be killed," He stated as the bright light and video was gone. All I saw was the timer. It ticked away as time went away.
