You notice a warm orange glow around you. A familiar hand reaches out to you. "Lila?" You say softly, almost whispering. The glow disappears, everything turns dark again. As you wonder in the darkness, small frames with memories of you and Lila float around. From when you first met in a park til the last time you saw her at school. You remember the times she has helped you. The time you fell down from the swing and scraped your knees, how she ran and held you, taking you to your mother. The time you had no partner at school and how she didn't hesitate to run to you. The way she always knew when you were sad and alone. All these warm thoughts race through your dream. You want that back, you wanna make up for all the lost time. You wanna apologise for leaving her behind. Everything stands still for a moment, tears once again rushing down your cheek.
You wake up from your dream and wipe away your mostly dried up tears. You move onto your bed and check the time. It's two in the morning and you just realise you have been sleeping for five hours. You run down to check on Bunnyx, but she is fast asleep and somehow, still transformed. You run up back to your room and check on Duusu. "Hey.. I'm sorry for overworking you" you quickly say apologising to Duusu. "It's fine I get it. But Bunnyx, she prolly transformed while you were asleep. So don't worry too hard. Get more rest, I need mine too" Duusu explains. You feed Duusu, then go back to sleep.
