Chapter 9

You wake up feeling refreshed and ready to fight. You transform back and check on Bunnyx. She's wide awake and scouting outside again. She turns to you with a concerned look. "Hey kiddo, I've been hearing a voice around the park, ya think someone's stuck? I've waited for you to wake up so I could check the place. Wanna go?" You smile and nod in agreement.

The both of you slowly approach the Park's gate. You walk inside as cautious as can be and then hear a voice. It sounds faint and in pain. You look around and your heart sinks. You've been here before not so long ago. You run towards the Carousel and you see a blue-haired girl. She looks up at you with full eyes, tightly grasping a purse. It's Marinette, all dirty and weak. "Mari... What happened... Was this.. because of me?" You ask her hurriedly. She gives you a weak smile and then says "No y/n.. this is a bit after heh" You drop down to the ground and hold her tightly. You look up at Bunnyx with your teary eyes. "It..was the minions.. Hawk Moth's..." Marinette coughs out. You hold her up in your arms and look at Bunnyx and retreat back to your home before you could be seen by a minion.

You lay her on the couch and give her some food and water. She then begins to speak once more "I sprained my ankle fighting with you... And you dropped something important while fighting. I wanted to give you back but you were long gone. So I kept.. going and going back to the park to see if you'd come back... Until a few days ago I got attacked by Hawk Moth's minions. I managed to fight them off but now.. I'm a bit hurt heh. " You and Bunnyx clean and bandage Marinette's wounds and soon after she falls asleep. Out of curiosity, you check her purse to see what she was talking about. It was none other than a friendship bracelet Lila gave you.

"So that's it huh? That's pretty cute, I bet it means a lot to you with that look on your face you got there" Bunnyx interrupts. You try holding back your tears and you put the bracelet on. You gotta save her, you gotta save Lila, you gotta save your parents. Both you and Bunnyx continue on the entire day looking for more victims of minion attacks, but there is no one to be seen.
