"Let's take a rest here"

As soon as those words were spoken I immediately stood up from my sitting position above the horse that I'm riding and leaped to a nearby Tree landing gracefully.

"Oi! Kanna don't just leave your Horse here"

"Why? " I calmly look at Nuriko and rested my back on a branch

"Why? Because it's yours stupid! "

"Oh?..... Troublesome " I smirked at him then closed my eyes to rest.

"Uggh! " Opening one eye I looked to see Nuriko-Baka stomping away angrily.

I sighed once again and shifted my eyes to look at the clear Blue sky, the calm breeze of summer air blew gently and not a sign of pollution is yet present. 'Back in Japan the air is not as clean as the once in the Ancients.' Shaking away my thoughts I decided to take a rest for awhile.

"Miaka, here have a drink" I turned to look at the approaching Emperor.

"Thank you Hotohori"

"Still thinking about Tamahome? " He asked taking a seat beside me

"Yes... " I looked down at the letter Tamahome wrote using a teared piece of paper from my notebook.

"You know Miaka, Tamahome did that in order to protect you, as one of The Suzaku Warriors it is his responsibility to you" I felt my eyes welled up in tears, threatening to fall anytime 'of course I'm only his responsibility '

"I know... " I gripped the letter tightly and lowered my head so that Hotohori won't be able to see my tears.

"But... He also did that because...He loves you"

Stunned I looked at Hotohori who was smiling gently but I could see in his eyes there is sadness.

"He...does? " my voice was barely a whisper but I knew Hotohori heared me.

"Look at the back of the letter Miaka"

Hearing that I turned the paper and at the lower corner saw a Chinese Characters that I don't recognize.

"It means... I Love You"

I finally burst into tears, this time because of Happiness, I now know how he feels and I'm determined to quickly find the rest of the Suzaku Warriors and bring back Tamahome as well as Yui.

Ahh...I know It's bad to eavesdrop but It can't be helped since they took a rest below the Tree that I am in. My eyes took in the figure of Saihitei and Miaka-nee below me, seeing the gently smiling Emperor I knew deep down he was hurt but atleast he wasn't doing anything stupid and got blinded by his Jealousy.
