After the death of Hope's parents her aunt Freya thought it would be nice for Hope to get out of town away from supernatural things so they moved to Forks but little did they know what was about to happen next would change Hope's life.
CHAPTER 1: Forks
*Hope's pov*
"Hope are you almost done packing," my aunt Freya shouted from downstairs. I looked at the stuff I packed just to make sure nothing was missing. I then made my way downstairs carrying my luggage with magic.
"Hope, go put your luggage in the car," I simply nodded at my aunt. "Aunt Freya, are you going to leave me in Forks and come back and stay with Keelin?" Freya looked at me with guilt and said, "Hope, you know I would stay with you, but I have to take care of the enemies that are after you because of…" "My dad," I finished her sentence.
She simply nodded and said, " We should get going, it's a 2-day drive," we then made our way to the car and Freya started driving. We just sat there in silence not knowing what to say to each other.
*Alice pov* (In Forks)
Esme was in her room while Rosalie and I were watching a movie. Suddenly I saw a girl face flash then I saw Rose was smiling with the girl. After the vision ended, I realized Rose is going to meet her mate next week. I had a giant smile on my face when I saw Rose was staring at me and asked, "Alice, are you okay?" I smiled even bigger and nodded my head. I was thinking about telling her about her mate but then thought it would be better as a surprise. Then I heard the door open.
Emmett walked in with Jasper and they both sat down with me and Rose. Jasper started to cuddle next to me. I felt a breeze then looked and saw Rose was gone then I heard the front door shut so I think she went hunting. Since she was gone I told the boys what I saw, "I got a vision Rose is finally going to meet her mate." The boys both looked at me and smiled then I said, "Don't tell her I want it to be a surprise."
*Hope's pov (Back in the car with Freya)
It started to get late so Aunt Freya and I stayed in a Motel room for the night.
*In the morning*
After we ate breakfast and changed, me and my aunt went back in the car. "Hope, when we get there you are going to stay with one of Declan's friends. His name is Charlie, he also has a daughter that's 2 years older than you," my aunt Freya explained. "Are you going to visit me?" I blurted out.
*Freya's pov*
Hope suddenly blurted out, "Are you going to visit me?" I gave Hope a sympathetic and said, "Hope, I - I -,” “Okay, I understand will you at least call?” I nodded my head and just continued driving.
(In Forks) *Bella’s pov*
It was around 7 pm when I heard my dad call me down. “Bella, I just wanted to let you know we are going to have one of my friends, friends, daughter come and stay with us. Her mom, dad, and uncle just passed away 2 weeks ago so can you please try to friend her?” my dad said. “How many years old is she?” “She is I believe 15,” my dad replied. “Okay, I’m going to bed now.”
(Still in Forks) *Hopes pov*
We finally reached Forks at 10 pm. We didn't want to bug anyone so we just slept in the car that night. When we woke up in the morning we both used magic to get ready and brushed in a nearby restroom. After we got ready we started heading to Charlie’s house.
(Charlie’s house) *Bella’s pov*
“Dad, when is the girl going to get here?” “Her aunt said they were going to get here in 5 minutes.” Then we heard the doorbell. My dad opened the door and invited a girl and a blonde lady in. The blond lady was the first one to speak, “Hi, my name is Freya, you must be Charlie,” she said while shaking my dad’s hand then she walked over to me and shook my hand and said, “You must be Bella,” I simply nodded. She then walked to the girl that came in with her and said, “This is Hope,” I simply smiled at her.
“Bella can you take Hope to your room and show her where she is going to be sleeping?” my dad asked me. Once again I nodded my head and said, “Hope, follow me,” and she did. When we got my room I showed her a mattress on the floor and said, “I hope it’s okay if you sleep on that till my dad can get you a real bed.” She nodded her head and finally spoke for the first time she said, “Thank you for letting me sleep in your room I promise I won’t be a burden or take up much space,” I was a little shock when she said that but then I replied, “don’t worry, I don’t mind sharing my room.”
We talked for a bit after she got set up then my dad called us both down. I saw here aunt Freya take her to another room and they talked for a minute but then hugged and Freya left after saying bye to my dad.
*Hope’s pov*
When we went down aunt Freya pulled me in a different room and said, “Hope, I love you but something is happening right now and I can’t have you in New Orleans or in the Salvatore school.” I nodded my head and felt like crying but I just buried it deep and hugged my aunt Freya. She hugged me back and said bye to Charlie before she left and started her journey back home. Then I heard Bella say to her dad, “Dad, I’m going to go to a friend’s house.” Then I heard Charlie say, “Take Hope with you. It would be nice if she met some people before she starts school next week.”
Then I saw Bella walk up to me and asked, “Hey Hope, you wanna come with me to meet some of my friends?” “Um, I’m good. I think I’m just going to take a nap or something.” Then Bella walked out of the house as I went upstairs into her room. I started thinking of my family and soon cried myself to sleep.
*Bella’s pov* (At the Cullen’s house)
“Hey, Alice, what’s up.” “Bella, don’t tell Rose this but she is going to meet her mate next week.” I looked at Alice shocked then I asked, “Wait, where is Rose?” “She went out hunting,” as soon as Alice said this Rose came through the door and just walked past me but said hi to Alice. Then Edward came into the room and said, “Hey, Bella, wanna go for a walk?” I nodded my head and walked outside with him. Once we got outside Edward ran us to the spot in the forest where he told me he is a vamp. He kissed me and I kissed him back. The kiss lasted a minute then I realized the sky was starting to get dark and I asked Edward if he could drop me home. Of course, he said yes and dropped me home. Before I went in I gave him a kiss when I went to my room I saw Hope was sleeping but then I looked at her cheeks and there were tear stains. ‘Aww poor Hope I wonder what you went through,’ I thought. After I got changed I went down to eat dinner then I asked my dad, “Hey, dad did Hope come down to eat dinner.” “She ate an apple and that’s it, I told her to eat food but she said she was fine.”
