New friends

*Hopes pov* (next week)

I woke and saw the time was 5 am and Bella told me that school starts at 7 am so I have 2 hours. (I don't  know what time their school starts so just go with it) I looked next to me and saw that Bella was still asleep so I went to the bathroom and magically got ready, I then brushed my teeth and then went to wake Bella. 

"Bella wake up," I say as I gently shake her. She moved around a bit then woke up and said, "Morning Hope, go eat breakfast I will meet you down in a bit." I nodded my head and went down. "Morning Hope," said Charlie, "I made pancakes." I sat down and ate 2 pancakes when i was done Bella came down and ate 2 pancakes as well. It was 6:30 am so we only had 30 minutes to get to school. Me and Bella rushed out the door and ran to school. Bella went straight to her class and I went to the office to pick up my schedule. When I got out of the office I headed to my first period history. When I got to my first period I opened the door and walked in I noticed everyone was staring at me and then I saw the teacher walk over to me and told me to sit in the back next to a girl named Rosalie. She was gorgeous she had  perfect hair and golden eyes.

*Rosalie pov*

When I went to class I went to the back cause that's where my seat was a few minutes later I smelled something sweet then a girl walked into the classroom. She was so pretty she had gorgeous blue eyes and her hair seemed perfect. I felt attracted to this person then I realized SHE'S  MY MATE! I then heard the teacher say for her to go sit next to me I started getting nervous because 1. none of my 'siblings' are in this class and 2. My mate is going to be sitting next to me for the rest of the school year. As soon as she sat down she didn't even look at me she just took out a notebook and started drawing people. Then the teacher started to talk about dates when important events had happened and stuff then out of the blue he said, "Hope, can you tell me when The Attack of Pearl Harbor happened?"

Without looking up she said, "December 7th 1941." I was shocked it looked like she wasn't even paying attention to the lesson yet she knew the answer, I mean me I have been going to high school forever so obviously I knew the answer but how did she know okay now I'm just over thinking.

*Hope's pov*

The teacher was dumb for asking that my dad told me all kinda stories about the past. Then the teacher spoke again and said, "Okay Hope can you tell me the date for The Fall of the Berlin Wall," I didn't look up because I was focused on my drawing and said, "1989," I could feel he was shocked so I just said that I was good with dates. He then said, "Okay then let's test that, keep it to the year." The teacher was really dumb if he thinks I don't know dates to thinks for crying out loud my family would always talk about what destruction happened in the past. Then he started telling me an event and I would tell him the year without looking up, "Civil Rights Act," "1964." 

"Jon F Kennedy's Assassination," "1963." "MLK," "1968." 

"Lincoln," "1865." 

"Roe vs Wade," "1973"

"Brown vs board," "1954"

"Battle of Gettysburg," I could tell he was getting annoyed by me but I still answered him, "1863." 

"Korean War," "1950 - 1953." Then he said, "Ha the war ended in 1952." I looked up and said, "Sir actually it's 1953." He then shouted, "Someone look it up!" Then someone said, "19.. 53" everyone started clapping and I just smirked. Then the bell rang and I went to my next period Math.

(TIME JUMP to lunch) *Rosalie pov*

Me and my siblings made our way to lunch and as always we just grabbed a chip bag and water. Also like always people were whispering about us. When me and my family went to take a seat at our table I smelt a familiar scent entering the lunch room. I looked at the entrance and saw Bella enter with Hope, my mate. I then saw Bella walking this way with Hope and I instantly tensed up. I think Jasper, and Edward noticed because they started softly laughing. I just glared at them. Then Bella and Hope sat on my right side,Bella next to Edward, Hope next to me, Alice next to Jasper, Emmett next to Fiona on my left. During lunch everyone except me and Hope were talking. I was thinking how my mate could be human. 

*Hope's pov* 

Bella let me sit with her and her friends during lunch. I was grateful because I didn't have anywhere else to sit. When we sat down everyone was talking to each other except Rosalie I wondered why. Then I finally spoke up, "Excuse me, but um what's everybody's name." They all looked at me then the guy next to Bella said, "Oh right sorry for not introducing ourselves my name is Edward." Then a girl with  short hair said, "My name's Alice," the guy next to her said, "Jasper," then a muscular guy said, "Name's Emmett," the girl next to him said, "My name's Fiona." Then Rosalie spoke, "You already know my name," her voice was cold but beautiful at the same time. I then realized they didn't know my name so I said, "My name's Hope." Then the bell rang saying lunch was over. For the rest of the day I didn't pay attention in class I was just thinking about Rosalie and why my wolf felt attracted to her. I then noticed at one point during class I drew her I could help but smile. 

(After School) *Edward's pov*

Me and Bella walked out of school hand in hand, we stopped by my car. I was a little bit frustrated with that girl, Hope, she didn't smell human but she didn't smell just like a wolf or a vampire either and I couldn't read her mind. I think Bella noticed because she said, "Edward, are you okay?" I simply said, "I will tell you once we get home I have to tell the family this." She simply nodded her head and said, "Can you pick me up at 6?" I nodded then kissed her and left. 

*Bella's pov*

After I said bye to Edward I went to find Hope when I found her she was drawing in her sketchbook. I didn't see what she was drawing because she quickly shut it the second I came behind her. I said, "It's really cool what you did in History. Personally, I think that teacher deserved it for thinking he knows it all." She just looked at me and said, "You heard about that?" I nodded my head. She started packing her things then started walking to my house with me. Then I said, "Hey, will you be okay by yourself for a couple of hours? I'm going to visit the Cullens at 6 and Charlie isn't going to be home till late." She just nodded her head and we walked the rest of the way home in silence. 

*Hope's pov* 

When Bella said I was going to be alone till late I was really happy because that meant I could wolf out in the woods I saw.

Bella finally left the house and when she did I made sure that she was out of the house's view. I grabbed a hoodie and sweats from my room and went outside, I put the clothing behind the house and transformed. It felt good to run after not shifting for a while. I wasn't paying attention where I saw running and so the next thing I knew was I saw Bella and the Cullens all outside watching me. 

*Rosaline pov*

Bella came over at 6 today, I just stayed in my room during her stay, then I heard Edward say he smelt a wolf so I came down and went outside with them. When we got outside I smelt a scent it smelt like Hope, my mate but it was a little different. 

I then saw a wolf, it was a greyish-white wolf, it looked nervous. Then I saw the family ready to attack till the wolf let out a whimper.  Edward then said to Carlisle, "What is a wolf doing on our territory?" Then the wolf started walking towards me slowly, the family was getting ready to attack but then I said, "Wait let's see what it's going to do!" They all stood down and the wolf came to me and started nuzzling my leg. 

Carlisle then said, "Everybody, inside we will let Rose deal with this." "Me! Why me?" He replied saying, "The wolf is only letting you get close," then he went inside. 

I knelt down and got on ground level with the wolf, I then looked it in the eye and asked, "Hope, is that you?" because the wolf smelt similar to her. The wolf nodded and I said, "How did we not notice this earlier?" The wolf just cuddled up on me and let out a whimper, I could help but hug the wolf then I said, "You should probably go home, and don't worry this will be our secret." The wolf let out a small bark of appreciation and ran off. 

*Hope's pov*

I'm glad Rosalie is going to keep me being a wolf a secret but why did my wolf know how to find her? Wait, is she my mate? She must be I mean that's why  I feel attracted to her. 

*Rosalie's pov*

After I went back in I saw the family in the living room. "So what are we talking about?" I asked them. Jasper then replied and said, "We were talking about how Edward can't read Hope's mind like he can't read Bella's. Also that she smells like a wolf but not just a wolf." I looked at them a little shocked, then Esme and Carlisle said, "We should invite Hope over." I nodded my head then Fiona said, "Bella can bring her when she comes tomorrow." Bella agreed and it was decided Hope would meet the family tomorrow.
