supine (adj.) - flat on your back, looking up.
There was a time that I stood in front,
Surrounded by people who comfort.
Maybe all my thoughts were miseries,
which totally transferred into memories.
I flipped over my photo album,
As I spotted the one with a gentle hum.
I dragged my finger across the picture
until I identified the one who used to be my lover.
Long story short,
It was made me disappoint.
Maybe everything should be gone,
Instead of staying for long.
Brief thoughts, I thought.
Lovers, I sought.
Maybe life is genuinely unfair,
Since I found him, in despair.
What is romance? I don't care.
I still remember the days we played solitaire.
Driven by the lights on the road,
I finally realised that I'm just a normal toad.
