Demi's POV

I woke up to a beam of bright sun coming through my hotel window, and loud noise of chanting from below the hotel. I stumbled over to my balcony and walked out to take a look what was happening, to the realisation they were chanting "Brazil loves you Demi!" I was gobsmacked there were literally hundreds lined up on the streets saying my name!

I got a bit lost listening to all my Lovatics to forget what I had done the day before, "shit, Olivia and Oscar!" I say as it hits me that they are in the suite with me and it wasn't just a dream. I march over to their bedroom door that they were staying in and my heart melted seeing them, Oscar had obviously got a bit scared during the night in his own bed and had scrambled his way over to Olivia and they were curled hugging each other just like they did on the streets when I found them. I didn't want to rush them into things last night and to be honest it was really late so I popped them a pair of pyjamas each, that I had with me from when Naya was staying with me the other night, but I didn't force them to get change I left them to their own devices once I had given them a little meal each. Olivia had opted to change into the pyjamas but little Oscar was still in his clothes, this poor little boy was so adorable yet so frightened of everyday scenarios, I am hoping that when they wake up I will be able to get some more information out about them like how old they are for a start and give them a much needed bath to get rid of the dirt and smell that had been staying with them.

Olivia's POV

It was so nice to wake up in a warm and comfortable bed, I heard footsteps coming towards the door so I quickly shut my eyes and pretended I was still asleep. I had noticed that Oscar had come and got into my bed whilst I was asleep, I didn't expect him to sleep all on his own last night as he hasn't ever in his life.

Demi's POV

I wanted to treasure this moment forever so I grabbed my phone and quickly snapped a picture of them swiftly following it with a quick tweet to sit alongside it.

"@ddlovato: I have done my good deed of the year and it has made me feel so much more happier...https://twitter.com/ddlovato/status/593612478726295953/photo/1"

As soon as I pressed tweet I had loads of replies, asking what I was doing in the children's room. Some were so positive saying stuff like "Demi I love the fact you are so down to earth and help anyone you can." And then there were some people out there that made my blood boil "eww... Look at those filthy kids at least find some pretty ones!" I was not the sort of person to let this past so I did a few indirects.

"@ddlovato: to all the little squirms out there saying these kids are filthy... You need a reality check mate!"

"@ddlovato: I would like to say a big thank you to everyone though that has sent positive messages to me, it means a lot!x"

I logged out of Twitter and locked my phone to see Olivia sat upright in bed just starring at me. "Demi, what is wrong? Why are you crying?" She asked confused at my emotions that I was showing. I didn't even realise I was crying I was too mad to worry about my emotions. "I'm fine baby girl just there are a few people in the world that are very mean and shouldn't be allowed to say certain stuff out loud." I reply with tears still running down my face, but I swept Olivia's beautiful brown curly hair across her face out of her eyes and kissed her forehead. Oscar was still asleep and I could see he was so comfortable and a very deep sleeper as Olivia got out of bed and left him sleeping in his own. "Sweet dreams little man." I told him as I kissed his forehead before leaving the room.

"Olivia I was wondering if you wanted a bath? With lots of bubbles and toys to play with?" I asked trying to be as convincing as I possibly could to get her to say yes. "Will you hurt me if I don't?" She says with tears coming to the surface of her little round eyes. "Of course not baby girl, I just thought you might want to be cleaned up then I will pop out and get both you and Oscar a new outfit for our journey home and then we can go proper clothes shopping if you like?" I say as my heart is still twisted from Olivia asking if I would hurt her, I don't know much about their past but it sounds like they weren't allowed to say no without being hurt. "Demi, I would love a bath. Please don't leave me." She ran with her arms open wide to me and wrapped her hands as tightly as she could around my leg, I picked her up and gave her the biggest hug in return, these children needed a lot of love to show their true beauty to everyone but to me they are both perfect.

Olivia's POV

Demi's hugs are so warm and I would never let go of her if I had the chance, I feel safe with her and when she told me she wouldn't hurt me I honestly believed her. The thought of having a bath makes my stomach turn but to think that Demi will be right beside me settles my nerves a little. I couldn't help the tears flowing from my eyes, they were happy tears, I am so thankful of Demi me and Oscar would never of had a chance of survival if she had just walked past us.

Demi's POV

I hear a loud cry coming from Oscar's room so I placed Olivia on the sofa in front of the TV that had Peppa Pig playing and rushed to see Oscar before he got himself worked up. "It's alright little man, I am here don't be afraid." I soothed him with my words and giving him a big hug, he was tense but he soon relaxed when realising I was here to help him and not hurt him. "How would you like to have a bath with you sister, and play with the toys and bubbles before we leave for home later?" I asked expecting the same reply as I got from Olivia, all I got was a very wary nod from little Oscar, was he mute or had he just not learned to speak yet, I still had no idea how old he was but that was the least of my worries at the moment.

I picked Oscar up and went and placed him next to Olivia on the sofa whilst I went to run the bath for them both, the smiles on their faces was a miracle and I couldn't be anymore proud of them.
