His energy was brighter than you would think it would be given his outer state. Apparently saving him was the only thing that was keeping her out of jail.
"Rai, you will be staying with Mr. Aizawa, for the time being. If you can prove that you can uphold society standards we will think about letting you have visitations with Eri." The man with a dog head stated.
Aizawa vouched for her, and had some how gotten stuck with being her caregiver of sorts until they could prove she wasn't in on all the things "Overhaul" was responsible for.
She understood why they needed to watch her, and he seemed to be the best option for a babysitter. There was just something about him that she liked.
This gruff, tired, unkept, yet handsome man was going to be a huge part of her life for the up coming months. He was older than her but honestly seemed very down to earth compared to the other heroes she had met today.
There was something about him that made her heart beat in a way she hadn't felt before. It made her feel unusually warm, when she noticed his eyes on her. Maybe it was because she could remember the way his lips felt on hers.
' No, you needed to focus. You don't need to do that anymore, you aren't here to please him like that. ' she tried to calm herself with the idea.
Her exhaustion was getting the better of her mind. Usually right now was when she sometimes need her third shower of the day.
"Come on, lets get some rest." Aizawa stated nodding his head towards the door.
They had been talking for hours with the police and the other hero's, both of them were mostly fine physically, thanks to her. Just really tired. She stood bowing slightly and making her way to her caretaker, at least that was what everyone else kept calling him.
———-It had been about a week since Nighteye died. She thought he seemed like a good guy. It made her sick knowing he died to save her Sweet Bean.
She could only imagine what Eri was feeling. Stuck in the hospital without anything she knew. Rai only hoped she would be able to see her soon.
"Is there anything you need while I'm out?" Shōta asked taking her out of her thoughts.
He told her that they should get comfortable with one another, since they were stuck with each other for the time being. She seemed surprise that he asked but answered anyway.
"If you leave money, I can make dinner tonight" she stated not looking at him.
She had been mostly to herself since they first moved in together. Honestly she didn't know what to do around him. His stare made her feel things, and she didn't need him to know that.
To know how much of a whore she could be if he ever asked. It was what she had needed to be for so long, that she assumed that this feeling was what her body wanted from her. She had been fucked almost every day, multiple times a day, for the last three years and her body was unsure of what to do now that it wasn't expected of her.
He looked at her with a dull gaze, his energy spiking for a second before handing her some cash. Their fingers brushing caused another spike in his energy.
She decided not to over think either energy spike as she thanked him. The first day she was going to be allowed outside "by herself" in years. She knew that she was never really alone. Always being followed.
He would be gone for quite a few hours, so she cleaned the apartment and proceeded to the local grocery store picking up things for dinner. She ignored the energy following her, minding her own as she shopped.
