When He Gets in His Feelings

She was going to get to see her Sweet Little Bean today, she was so excited. Shota could feel the buzz of her quirk, it was electric. It made him even feel somewhat excited, not that you could tell.

She had finally gotten to get clothes for herself. Wearing a new striped crop tank top and a pair of high wasted straight legged jeans with some platform sandals, she was ready and waiting for Present Mic to pick her up. 

A knock on the door concluded that the man was here. She had a meeting at the school and conveniently Eri would be there too. They were getting ready for some festival at the school.

Opening the door to her babysitter of the hour, she smiled at the loud man in front of her. Her excitement instantly spreading to the man in front of her. It was rather early, however the principal wanted to see her for some reason.

"So how has it been living with this buzz kill." laughed Hizashi.

Knowing his friend he knew this was the most interested he has ever been in a woman. The signs weren't obvious but in the three weeks she had been living with his best friend, she had made him a little more open.

"Oh, him. He's actually a great roommate, Hiza." She laughed back.

Hizashi had come over several time since she had been here. Usually just for dinner.  Rai and the man we're becoming fast friends, honestly he was just rooting for his friend to actually have a relationship.

He could see the way they would sneak glances at each other, he found it kinda alluring to watch. Neither of them had the confidence to announce what they really wanted from each other. Their low key flirting was his favorite part.

"Hizashi, must you always tease me." Aizawa groaned.

"I just like to get a rise out of you buddy." Hizashi replied hitting the man on his back laughing.

"He is pretty fun to mess with." The girl laughed out, earning a glare from the dark haired man.

"Well we should get going, see you later dude." The blond stated as he started for his car.

Rai reached out touching Shota's hand briefly, sending him some good energy for encouragement. She could tell that he didn't enjoy when his best friend and herself would tease him together.

"Be safe. I'll see you later, Shota." She stated softly before going to meet Hiza.

Shota watched as they drove off, his hand still warm from where she touched him. His feelings for her just kept progressing, and he couldn't say he was excited about it. He had allowed himself to get roped in to a seemingly one sided minor obsession.

He had found himself enjoying coming home, something he hadn't felt in awhile. They had opened up quite a bit since she showed him her art. There was still secrets between them, but it was comforting to know he always had someone to talk to.

He also found himself understanding the villain she use to belong to. Her quirk made her addicting in more ways that one. Her energy made him feel lighter, and every time she touched him he would feel a warmth spread through him.

He knew she was manipulating him, but it seemed to be for his own good. The issue was that he often found himself thinking about the down right dirty things he wanted to do to her more and more often.

He felt this need to almost claim her. To let the world know she wasn't available, he hated when other men looked at her, even his own friend. He wanted to keep her all to himself.
