Y/n's POV

I was making my way towards the convenient store to grab a few stuff since i just came back from volleyball practice.

I checked my watch to look at the time to see it was already 7pm, arriving in the convenient store I entered the store and went towards the sweets aisle, i look at the sweets that was displayed in front of me as i begin to grab some chocolates and gummies

I then went to the dairy aisle to see if they have any strawberry milk and to my luck they do have strawberry milk, i grabbed a couple of those before going to the cashier to check out.

"That'll be 10,000 yen please" the cashier said as i handed him the money before grabbing the stuff i bought and went on my merry way home

It was a quiet walk to say the least since it's already night time, i then turned around the corner before stopping infront of a two story house. Too bad i live alone since my parents are away for a business trip, i took out my keys and began to unlock the door. I removed my shoes before flicking the light switch on, i went upstairs to my room so i could study since i can't really keep up with my academics lately

I placed my food down at my desk as i made my way to my closet to change my clothes but before that i took a quick shower before placing a towel on top of my head since I'm way too tired to dry my hair like a normal person

I sat on my desk as i began flipping the pages of the book, i started taking notes on what i understood about this subject.

It was like this for the past 3 hours and i was yawning like crazy, i closed my notes and began putting my school work away neatly before flopping in my bed enjoying that comfyness feeling you get whenever you're tired.

I stared outside my window as i admired the stars that shone brightly and then a certain thought came across my mind

Can i be ace too?..

I frowned thinking of that thought, my teammates have been saying that I'm not suitable to be the ace of the group since i didn't have enough spiking power and the height.

The height..

THE HEIGHT JEEZ

I mean i'm 154cm so i think i'm tall enough? If not then i can still grow since i'm still in junior high, not to mention the girls on my team are pretty tall so i'm considered the shortest on the group

As i continued to stare at nothing in particular i began drifting to sleep

(Timeskip: Morning)

BEEP BEEP BEEP BE-

I slammed my alarm clock before groggily standing up and stretched my limbs, i yawned as i began to walk towards the bathroom to take a shower and do my morning routine

After doing my morning routine i went downstairs to eat breakfast but since i'm alone i made myself waffles with sliced strawberry and a chocolate milk shake

As i was happily eating my breakfast my phone began to vibrate nonstop, i took my phone out to see my mom calling me

"Hello?"

"Y/n dear! I'm glad you answered. How are you?"

"I'm good mom, how about you and dad?"

"We are doing good sweetie, anyways where are you planning to attend when you reach highschool?"

"I was planning to attend karasuno actually"

"It's all settled then! We'll send you money so you can buy the stuff you need and oh are you planning to join for volleyball tryouts?"
