Y/n's POV

Daichi told us that we would be practising today so we could improve our skills even more since he just want to see our full potential which i didn't mind since it would be a pain to stay home and do nothing especially on saturdays

I'm currently walking towards the gym while listening to music, i can hear the squeaking sounds through my earphones as i swing the metal door open only to be met with a flying ball to the face....again

I fell on my butt as i wiped my bloody nose while glaring at the culprit who decided to hit my precious face with a ball

"AHH I'M SORRY AGAIN L/N-CHAN!" Hinata yelled as he hurriedly kneeled beside me before giving me tissues

"BOKE HINATA BOKE! HOW DARE YOU HIT HER!" Kageyama yelled as he gripped on the poor boy's head

"What's with you and getting hit by a ball munchkin" tsukishima said as he helped me up before patting my head

"Shut up beanpole i'm not short, i'm fun size!" I exclaimed causing him to laugh while the two idiots stared at us like we were crazy

"Eh!? Why does saltyshima treat L/n-chan different from us!" Hinata said as he saw tsukishima pat my head which caused a certain king to get jealous

"Because she's my first female friend and she deserves to be treated with respect" tsukishima exclaimed as he adjusted his glasses

We stared at him with wide eyes and our mouth agape at his words as he only shrugged before patting my head again making me snap out of my trance

"BEANPOLE LOVES ME!"

I jumped up and down before continuing to bug him as he only stared at me with an unamused face

Kageyama's POV (wOw it's been awhile)

I stared at the two bickering at each other, i felt a pang in my heart as i held my chest tightly before shaking my head and went back into the court

"Ne bakayama, you seemed down. What's wrong?" Hinata asked his voice laced with concern as he stared at me trying to look uninterested

"nothing" i said as i picked a ball up before asking Takara to throw it up for me so i could set to this idiot of a sunshine

I can tell that Takara noticed my sudden change of mood but decided not to ask some questions fearing it might ruin the mood deeper than it already did

I shoke off the thoughts before tossing the ball towards hinata which caused it to flew pass his hand and into...

L/n's face

"OW WHAT THE FISH" she yelled before holding her nose and stared at us before marching her way towarfs us with a scowl on her face

"What's with you duo hitting Y/n on the face?" Takara asked as she handed L/n another tissue to stop her nose from bleeding

"Why are you blaming me?! I didn't set the ball!" Hinata defended which caused me to sigh and bowed at L/n

"Gomen L/n, i didn't think i would st the ball that far to the point it hit your beau- i mean your face" i said as my ears glowed bright red for almost saying 'beautiful' (a/n: GOMEN TSUKKI)
