Y/n's POV

We were training really hard and it's only 5am, today was our match and we want to make sure that we will win since this is my last year in Kitagawa Daichi. I don't realy have to worry on choosing a school to attend to since me and sheena are going to the same one

Izuyu and kaori are gonna be second years once we graduate, this may be our last year in junior high so we got to have that win

Soon the volleyball boys arrived making us stop on what we were doing just to greet them, but something bugged me while i was practicing for the match

Which high school will kageyama attend?..

I thought before blushing, why was i concerned on which highschool he'll go to! I don't even know him that much! Plus, he hates me with every guts in his body..

Wait..

i almost fainted with that thought but not aftet sheena caught me asking if i were okay, in the corner of my eyes i can see kageyama looking at me worriedly before moving his gaze to his Coach who was explaining some things like their rotation and stuff

We heard the whistle blow signaling for us to start practicing again, but this time with the help of the boys since Coach Natsu insisted on helping us train. We were partnered by Coach Akane so she could see if we can get distracted by a boy training us

It doesn't make sense but i respect her decision

"Sheena with Kimdachi and lastly Kageyama with Y/n" Coach Akane announced before going to the bench to sit and watch us

K-kageyama?!

Tsk.. thanks alot coach akane..

"EH?! WHAT'S THIS?! THE KING AND QUEEN ARE PARTNERS?!" Sheena yelled making izuyu smack her head before going back with her partner Kinumi

"L/n-san, it's best if we start practicing now since the match will start at 9am" kageyama said as we began to walk to the other side of the court

"How about we practice your spiking? Since you're the so called ace?" Kageyama added making my blood boil

So called?! What does that suppose to mean eh?!

I only nodded before getting into position, once he did this quick toss i immediately jump before spiking it like a madman but then again hitting sheena's face at the process

"Ah shit-"

"Y/N-CHAN! STOP HITTING ME ON THE FACE! I WILL PUNCH THE SHIT OUTTA YOU! BOKE BOKE Y/N-SAN" Sheena yelled as she pointed her finger at me, i only stared at her before hearing someone chuckle

"Nice aim, but this time try not to hit your teammate" kageyama said before walking away to get another ball

Kageyama's POV

As i went to grab a ball, i couldn't help but think about L/n's powerful spike. It's like when she's in the air she looks so graceful

I want to see her do that spike again, i want to see the way her hair flows and i want to see the way her face held no emotion when she was about to spike the ball

Wait..

Am i falling for her?..

That can't be right..

But a King needs her Queen.

Right?..

"Oi! Kageyama! Are you gonna toss the ball or are you going to continue staring at it until it melts?" L/n said as she was ready to run and spike the ball, she may be sassy but damn i admit.
