Third person's POV

It was rather a weird day for y/n, she have this uneasy feeling settling in her stomach telling her to talk to kageyama before it was 'too late' tho for her she didn't pay any attention to it as she continued on her day

She was pretty lucky that her red days was over since she's been lashing out at everyone lately because of it, not to mention her now rival Gale was planning her revenge or confession rather.

Kageyama was acting weirdly which cause hinata the ball of sunshine to be extremely worried about his 'friend' but he decided to ask him later since the last belm rang signaling for the class to start.

Gale, however was having a rather bad day. Her two friend Alie and Anie, ignored her and went to their merry ways of never approaching her again since they are sick and tired about her rather sassy or bossy attitude she showed towards the twins.

(With y/n : still in third person)

The class bell rang signaling that it was time for lunch, Y/n being the same class as tsukishima and yamaguchi decided that it would be fun to eat lunch with those two

"Guys! Mind if we eat lunch together?" Y/n asked as she give the two a bright smile waiting for their response

"Sure thing L/n-chan! Right tsukki?"

"Sure and don't call me that"

"Gomen tsukki"

"Didn't i tell you not- ugh nevermind"

After their little argument, the trio went up the roof and sat at the nearest bench beside the railings. But that is until they spotted a familiar ball of sunshine and a blueberry haired male walking towards them

"L/n,Yamaguchi,saltysaurus! Mind if we eat lunch with you?" Hinata said which the trio answered with a 'yes'

Kageyama was sitting beside Y/n and the tension between them didn't go unnoticed by the boys in front and beside them

"What's going on with you two?" Tsukishima asked as she noms on a meat that he took from his bento

"Yeah, you guys looked like you two fought" Hinata pointed out causing the girl to shake her head while blushing

"Oh no no! You got it entirely wrong! You se-"

The girl was cut off by a high-pitch scream causing the five of them to turn their heads to the source of the voice

"YOU BITCH WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH KAGEYAMA!" Gale screamed as she marched towards the group with anger shown in her face

"Umm, eating lunch?" Y/n answered bluntly while tsukishima was trying to hold his laugh as for yamaguchi and hinata, they seem to be glaring at the girl who disturbed their lunch

"Oh? Didn't you know?" Gale said as she smirked and crossed her arms while staring the girl down who was eating her lunch peacefully

"Know what? About your nose job?" Y/n retorted as she continues to eat her lunch, not even bothering to glance at the girl who was talking to her

Gale stared at Y/n shocked, how did she knows about her secrets? Well one thing to confirm that the twins were spreading rumors about her to taste her own medicine

The other three was trying so hard not to laugh at their friend's roast, they didm't know she can be as sassy and salty as tsukishima but looks like she is showing her true colors but not just that, after she said those words

Kageyama, who was beside her choked on his milk before laughing loudly causing the three other boys to laugh loudly as well causing Gale to be embarrassed to the point that tears were starting to form from the corner of her eyes

"Oh yeah? How about that time when i caught you reading yaoi mangas!" Gale said as she once again smirked which caused the boys to stop laughing and stared at the girl with wide eyes and their jaws drop

"Oh yeah? How did you know it was yaoi manga? Do you perhaps read too?" Y/n calmly said before closing her now empty bento and looked at Gale with so called innocent look causing the girl to be more frustrated then she already is

"Oh yeah? Well Kageyama asked me out just now!" Gale said proudly before looking at the girl who was laughing so hard to the point that she almost fell off the bench

"Huh? Since when did i ask you out?" Kageyama asked causing Y/n to laugh even harder to the point she forgot that breathing existed

"I- Hmph!" The girl said before storming off and as for Y/n, she was wiping her tears of joy from laughing so much

"phew what a good laugh" she sais with a giggle as the boys stared at her with amusement, even tsukishima found it amusing

"I guess this is what we call revenge gone wrong" she said once again before meeting the boys' gazes

"What?"

"I didn't know you were as salty and sassy as tsukki" yamaguchi remarked as he giggled which cause the said girl to giggle herself

"Didn't know you were a broccoli, hey tsukki. Eat your veggies" i said with a wink causing both of them to blush and look away

Y/n's eyes widen at the sight infront of her and so did the duo kageyama and hinata

"DON'T TELL ME YOU BOTH ARE SIMP FOR EACH OTHER!" Hinata yelled causing them to blush even harder as they summoned a squealing y/n while kageyama tries to calm her down
