Merida.
I rode back home on Angus, sneaking into my room through the window and grabbing an apple from the bowl.
What a strange night. I've actually met Jack Frost. THE Jack Frost. And I hurt him. Oh God I hurt him. I need to make it up to him.
Deciding to go to the clearing the next day, I collapsed into bed, closing my eyes and snuggling into my pillow. I would've fallen asleep to if it wasn't for Mum.
"MERIDA. WHERE ON EARTH HAVE YOU BEEN?!? I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU EVERYWHERE!"
Sighing, I rolled onto my back and sat up, leaning onto the bed post, pretending to be sleepy.
"I was asleep." I yawned, stretching.
"ASLEEP?" I have checked your room countless times and you weren't in here!"
"Calm down, Ma. I fell asleep looking at the stars on the roof. D'you ever think to look there?"
She opened and closed her mouth, unsure of what to say. Instead, she walked forward and tucked me in, brushing a curl from my face.
"Silly old me, eh? Never looking where I think my daughter would go? You gave us a good fright, Merida. Don't do that again, okay?"
I simply nodded, looking into her eyes before closing my own.
"Goodnight, Merida."
"G'night."
(A/N I am so sorry this took long I didn't quite know how to carry this story on, so this is just a filler, I promise Merida will meet Hiccup and they'll all get to know each other.
I'll be updating this every Monday and Friday I think, but with random updates inbetween if I feel like it.
Anyway, see you tomorrow!)
